It was way more expensive than I expected! They found a filter behind my dashboard that was missing and since they installed it my air conditioner is ineffective, where prior to that it was too cold! Oil change was almost not correct as I previously described! Will never go to Valvoline again! Will never recommend them to anyone?

First, the service techs were not welcoming and pretty rude. It was clear that they didn’t want to be there even more than me. Then, they spilled oil in my engine bay, causing a burning oil smell that has lasted for days so far. They also left their oil from their hands all the way around my hood. They didn’t mention any spills and didn’t clean anything up. I left a review during their survey and told Valvoline about my experience, have yet to hear back from them. I will not be returning. Today I happen to stop by to get my oil changed. Tyler, Michael, and one more guy (sorry cannot remember your name) were absolutely fantastic. They all wore masks, were knowledgeable, explained everything to me, offered recommended services but were not too pushy, explained everything ahead of time. I want their manager to know that they deserve a raise and that they are very hard working, honest, and professional! Kudos to you guys and thank you for great service! Thanks to Chris and the guys who took care of my car today. He even took the time to check ✅ my engine light and told me what I need to do. I had to wait a few minutes to get in but was out and done in less than 30 minutes. Reminder for myself to keep change in the car so I don't have to run my card for the tax on Group On purchases. 😊

We stopped into the N East St Valvoline location after getting a bargain oil change elsewhere. We weren't certain the discount oil change had done a good job. Both the manager and assistant mgr (Mell) at Valvoline were great in checking the previous work for leaks and even topping off our wiper fluid. This place is located on N. East St.in Lansing. Busy when I got there so I had to wait. I was greeted promptly and courteously. Found a coupon for $24.99 conventional oil change. In and out in about 15 minutes. They check numerous items and without undue pressure make suggestions for your vehicle. I was not disappointed. No appointment is necessary and you don't have to leave your vehicle. They have free Wi-Fi and got a few things done online while I waited. I recommend them.
