The evening staff do a poor job of enforcing the rules and keeping children out of the pool area during evening adult swim times. There's a group of unsupervised kids that's been routinely harassing the adults and seniors trying to enjoy a relaxing evening swim by jumping into the pool and splashing right next to them which appears to be on purpose as there is plenty of space to spread out and they seem to choose to get as close as physically possible and are throwing pool noodles in their direction. The facility should have a staff member in the pool area redirecting kids to other activities and reminding them the pool is closed to kids during adult swim hours. Everyone deserves to feel safe and the situation is getting out of hand. It's time for the business to step in. They can't advertise that they offer adult swim hours if they are not going to enforce it and provide that service to their guests. Very disappointing.

Other than the horrible guest pass design. the mens locker rooms do not smell very pleasant. You get two guest passes per month but cannot bring the same guest until 60 days later. which I don’t understand whose great idea that was. Basketball gyms are decent. Weight room is decent. I haven’t used the pool but the outside pool looks like nice. Membership for single adult and one kid $130 is a bit pricey. considering going back to the YMCA clubs.

I have had a membership with Lifetime for more than 8 years and really enjoyed my group classes at the Fridley club but my teenager son has lived a nightmare at this facility. A group of somalian kids think they own the basketball court and start fights with anyone that is not somalian. This past Saturday, my son got in a fight with one of the somalian kids. These kids are very aggressive and there is no supervision from Lifetime personnel at the basketball court. I’m considering cancelling the membership for my whole family.

Equipment is good. No lockers available in the locker room today. In general the locker room here doesn’t serve it’s purpose. The Planet Fitness locker rooms are better

I'm sorry but where is the management around this place at night? During the day it's not too bad but after 5 PM these young kids scream, swear and play around so loud it is ridiculous. I've been coming here longer than some of these kids have been alive and I'm just at my wits end. We spend a lot of money to come here and these kids act like it's a playground or a high school reunion. Somebody please take control I mean what are we doing??

I really like the community of this Life Time location, that’s how you can tell it’s a good people gym. People here aren’t shady when asking to use equipment or share. The location is perfect for those in the Minneapolis or Saint Paul area. The one and only downside is that the mens locker room reeks and I mean it reeks like someone’s stinky sock smell got stuck in the carpet. Other LifeTime don’t have carpet in their locker rooms - they have tiles instead. If they could change the carpet to tiles, it would stink less I believe. Also the AC doesn’t work in this lifetime so if you’re lifting downstairs you’re going to sweat and it stinks downstairs.

Nice facility with a great running track and lots of space for weight equipment and basketball. Only problem is that the locker room smells terrible from the carpet inside and should be steam cleaned regularly.

The trainers at this gym really care about their clients. They take a vested interest in their lives and do everything they can to give them a workout that meets them where ever they are in their fitness journey. If you are looking for a great workout with caring people, this is the gym for you!

Men's locker room smells, entire gym is poorly ventilated and climate controlled. AC doesn't even seem to be on. The other day there was water leaking from the ceiling into a bathroom stall. Definitely not worth going to this one. Unfortunately for some it's the closest and most convenient location.

This Life Time location has gone done in service and quality over the years. I was a member back around 2010 and left in 2011 and came back after moving back to MN in 2017. In 2010 there were so many classes and activities to choose from, now, not so much. They have towel service, showers, spa area (haircut, nails, massage, etc.), basketball courts, tennis courts (at this location), multiple weight areas, walking track, one large cardio area, racquetball courts and classes in each of the designated rooms. The membership is expensive, we pay $140 for two people per month for the Gold membership. Then you have to pay for extras such as special classes or upgrade to a Platinum membership if you want to play tennis, then pay for court fees. Also, I'm not sure if it's just me, but I feel like there are SO MANY MORE PEOPLE, especially during peak hours. It's hard to find open machines and people just sit on the machines. I prefer to come at off peak times but sometimes it's not possible. Many of the yoga classes feel like they've been combined into 3 types and there aren't as many pilates classes as I remember. I also remember there being more spin classes, but now I only see one or two a day at most. The service has also gone downhill. The employees seem aloof and rarely friendly. I asked for a paddle board while swimming on a Saturday afternoon by calling the front desk. They said they would look for someone to open up the locked equipment. I called back 10 minutes later and the front desk said that no one, including operations/maintenance, had the keys for any of the locked swim equipment. Kind of weird situation at best. I like the services offered at this gym but I feel like Life Time needs to fix its customer service such as the attitudes of the employees and class offerings that people want.
