I waited for almost an hour today for Courtney to return to sell me makeup. The chesterfield mall is so deserted and the employees aren’t really trying to help customers anymore. The sweet lady from the Estée Lauder counter tried to help but i really needed advice on a new product. I finally gave up thinking i don’t need to beg to spend my money.

I usually never write a bad review if I have a negative experience, I just don’t give them my return business, but I love MAC Cosmetics so much! It’s my go to make up. I usually buy online so I don’t have to drive 45 min to the nearest location but this time I had to go in, i completely ran out of foundation and powder. The Sales Rep was absolutely rude and extremely unprofessional! Granted she was the only one there and it got a little busy she was doing someone’s makeup when I walked up and I interrupted that, she got short with me when I asked her questions about a new mascara, then got even more rude when I told her what powder and foundation I wanted, I asked for studio fix powder foundation and she wanted to argue with me that’s not what I asked for when she brought me something else. I ended up apologizing to her just to get her to shut up and get me what I needed! Then she started talking bad about two older women who were standing at the end of the counter waiting for her help. She kept saying in a Valley Girl Accent “I don’t know why they keep staring at me” I told her, I think they are just waiting on you to finish with me. She kept making comments and getting huffy about them looking at her, it was bizarre and not a typical experience but the reason I order online to prevent this kind of sales experience! I spend no less than $100 every time I shop at MAC and it’s frustrating they can’t do a better job with customer service! Just because you are cute and can do makeup doesn’t mean it translates to a good sales representative or a good experience for a customer! It makes me sad but I Won’t be going back unless I absolutely have to.
