I ordered the birria tacos and fried catfish. The catfish and fries were seasoned perfectly. The tacos themselves were delicious, but the beans were to salty, and the rice wasn’t cooked fully. Overall the flavors were good but I would take the salt down a notch. And the food may be a bit too spicy for some people who don’t like heat too much. I’ll still support because the flavors were still good overall, and it’s hard to find straight up soul food restaurants anywhere. If you’re not in the south.

I have had food this good in a very long time. First time eating here and well worth the wait. Service was excellent and friendly. Food came out in an adequate amount of time. I have no complaints about that considering the crowd. Appeared to be family run establishment. Will definitely be back over and over. The oxtails literally peeled off the bone. They were very juicy and tender. GOING FOR THE LAMB NEXT!!!!!

Honey Chile is everything you love about food. Delicious, satisfying, mouth-watering, decadent, and hearty. From main dishes to sides to desserts, they WOW with every bite. The Birria tacos will forever be my favorite out of everything they offer. But their chocolate cakes are a close second!

Had the chance to try this place. It was average at best. The food is ok but not worth the wait. The problem is there are not really any great restaurants in this area period. The biggest problem is the attitude of the owner. Her posts and replies are rude and honesty for the quality of food unwarranted. Now, you will have her cult following that will defend her, but hey, it's small town, so to be expected They only update via Facebook, not Instagram, probably because they are not tech savvy, and we will hear about how she is too busy cooking to update. All in all, try it once, look at the Facebook posts, the slow service and attitude, and you will see for yourself

Fried beef ribs, Peach cobbler fried chicken and crazy great desserts! It's like we hit the jackpot every time! It isn't just food, it's a destination! And the owner is fabulous! Can't wait to come back!

This is a perfect Ma&Pa restaurant. Very tasty menu! I got the blackberry fried chicken with fries, mac&cheese, & cornbread. All of which was amazing, especially the cornbread! My wife got the lasagna with sweet potatoes & beans and rice. She enjoyed her meal and had leftovers due to the size of the portions, which surely made the price worth it! We then got a cake Togo we enjoyed the cake but all the candy around the cake made it taste weird. We will most definitely be returning!

This famy owned restaurant takes you home as soon as you walk in the door. I got there as they were opening and was greeted immediately. The food was awesome! I had the red velvet waffles and chicken with a side of mac and cheese. If you want some great food and a friendly ambiance, this is the place to be.

I enjoyed the muffins the most followed by the oxtail. The potato salad was good and we received large portion sizes. We called in our order for pick up and this is my first time eating here. Overall, a good experience.

We ordered the oxtails with sweet potatoes and the bacon cheeseburger. Wow! The oxtail was the most tender meat I have had in my life. My husband said that the burger was amazing as well. The wait time was long, but not ridiculously so. They were fairly busy, and this food was clearly crafted to order, so the wait was worth it a thousand times over. This is a restaurant worth taking the time to experience and enjoy!
