My son is just getting into collecting Pokemon cards and we've been to dragons lair a few times. Each time the staff has been extremely kind and helpful, even giving him some pointers on collecting cards. Jay especially gave lots of good advice and was very knowledgeable! Will definitely be back.

Love the place. Prices can get pretty steep, and sometimes there's screaming kids, but mostly it's the best card/hobby shop in town and I love getting my nickel cards from them.

Very friendly staff, large selection of just about everything. They even do trade-ins at decent prices (for store credit, cash is a lot less), be sure to call ahead though. Family friendly and a great place to spend time. Separate review just for their bathrooms: 10/10 would recommend. Not crowded, clean, even have the good toilet paper and a plunger in the stall.

My son and i went to this store in search if a new board game for our family to play over the weekend. We were pleasantly surprised at the selection that was offered. Prices did seem quite high though. Other items for sale include comic books, books, collectibles, and card games. There a few nice displays of various items. They offer a punch card for purchases which is nice.

The prices they give just aren't good enough to warrant it. On top of that, a select few employees can be quite snarky. However it's not all negatives. If you're not looking to sell your old minis but rather looking to purchase used ones, this place and the other location have a decent selection. Staff are usually quick to respond when you need anything, though seem to be suffering from a bad case of being under-staffed. Given the current economy it's not hard to see why, though it's a shame it really seems to hit hard at both locations. All-in-all Dragons Lair is a good place to get used minis and make the occasional stop in, though it being a 30 minute drive for me tends to make me look elsewhere as sometimes I'm just not willing to make the drive when I don't think it's much worth it.

The staff were incredibly rude. None of them cared to engage me at all. No “hello, how may I help you. What are you looking for?” I asked one of the cashiers about a couple comics and he was very short with me and made me feel like I was bothering him- frankly it was quite unprofessional. It seemed like they were just concerned with me cashing out and leaving. Though I was impressed with their selection, I’m going somewhere else if the atmosphere isn’t more customer friendly.

The guy up front got on the floor and measured other boxes to see which one would work for me. We found one and it's perfect! The magic guy knows his stuff two. He can always tell me what they have or don't when it comes down to singles right away. Best store around omaha.

Their offer of a punch card to fill for a discount on larger purchases keeps me a returning customer. They also participate in Free Comic Day and host other gaming events that provide a wealth of entertainment for anyone interested in tabletop and board games.

If that person works 1 day a week, then you're stuck with employees that don't know how to help you thoroughly. There was a time when I called about the availability of a Yu-Gi-Oh card. I was told, "It's not in the case". I went up to the store about 15 minutes later and they were correct, it wasn't in the case, but It was on the shelf behind the counter where only employees could get to. I wouldn't have known if another customer hadn't mentioned that they did indeed have 2 copies. Although, I'm sure it was unintentional, I felt slightly uncared for as a customer. It was my first time back at the store after ~7ish years. I spent about $600 that day. My advice, it should be an expectation that all employees are familiar and up to date with all of the niches the store services in order to thoroughly help customers.
