No one was there, so I stopped and asked if they could repair a tire. The guy said he could. After taking off my tire..... he never fixed it. He took 3 smog checks that came in after me. And after an hour and a half I told him if he didnt put my tire back on I was calling the cops! So unprofessional that he wouldnt give me the owners phone number! Worst service ever!! If he couldnt do the repair he should have said so from the beginning!!

Found online that said they offer free air. When arrived and asked they told me it would be at least $2 to air up my tires. They don’t have to provide it free but they’re listed online saying “free air”.

Was on the road on 8/31/20, purchased full tank of gas, tried to use their restroom, the guy said their restrooms are closed (though they were open and just cleaned) because of covid regulations. Restrooms at other gas stations were open. Not sure what kind of regulations these guys were following. Guy who was speaking with me, wasn't very friendly.

This is the ONLY place around Reno /Sparks or Anywhere I've been lately . The only place that has 24 HR. Free. I said Free Air. Probly not a big deal to a lot of you but I'm 58, I have to check and pay for everything I do alone. I Appreciate that I can count on not having to find 8 quarters I don't have and suffer with poor mileage until I come up with the 8 quarters The next Kudos is a Saturday afternoon I had some brand new tires I got at Wal-Mart wait times for them to install reached 4 hrs by noon two days in a row. So I got them to go. Not really smart. But since they noticed I was a bit distressed about the tires they agreed to move me up the line,and the Boss stopped what he was doing, right then and changed the tires for me,I'm Impressed,I wish his gas prices were lower but he's got to pay for his upkeep also. Great place, Great People

We took our 2012 Nissan Altima here for front and rear pads/rotors, an oil change, and an alignment. Right off the bat, they let us know that we did not need front brakes! I have experience in auto repair and this is very rare. Most shops will consider the labor hours used to discern this a waste! They took the time to build a diagnosis based on what we were telling them. Amazing! The customer service is non-threatening, natural, and professional. I was not offered anything I didn't ask for and was informed that we did not require the work we thought! There were no employees eating or smoking. The employees were not having personal conversations with each other or horsing around- none of the negative behaviors typical of a lube/repair shop. We ended up getting just rear brakes/rotors and once they were okayed for the Work, it took maybe 2.5 hours (plus an alignment and an oil change.) I can professionally and personally recommend this shop with great confidence in knowing your experience will be the same as ours.

This Business is a complete fraud, stay away..... I had work done on my car at this business, they explained to me what the problem was and what needed to be done, after the work was done normally the mechanic would stick around to show the customer the old parts and explain the work performed but instead he called and said the work was done and was not present at the time of pick-up to explain the work preformed, the price that the shop gave me was not correct, it was more, also the shop did not replace the center plate on my tire had to go back the next day for that, also the business would not produce the old parts which is standard for the business according to another employee. I had another shop look at the work that was suppose to be done by that shop only to be told that half the work was completed, the engine light is back on with the same exact codes and issues I had from the start, this visit was a total waste of my time and money. Now I have to pay more money to get work completed that I have already paid for, what a mistake on my part, I only chose the business because it was close to the DMV, hope you do not make the same mistake.

Carl and the guys at Howard's Chevron have done tires on both my wife's car, and my suv and will continue to do so. On par with the national chains with the feel good factor of supporting the local guy that we enjoy. Great little shop full of honest guys. If you have to sped your hard earned money, might as well make the best of it. Go see Carl!
