I just purchased a tuna sandwich from here and it used to cost me $7, now the price raised to $10. Very overpriced.

I used to get subs from here all the time and they were always great. Today I ordered 2 turkey subs. They were so thin, I barely had to open my mouth to bite, my wife's sub was the same. They used about 50% less meat then usual. If you have to, charge more, don't make a cheap sandwich. I am so disappointed mam, and the subs aren't cheap (price) either. Not a good way to keep customers. Good luck Steck's

The New York City / North Jersey deli potato salad of my youth, sliced thin and as white and tart as it ever was. This place is a time capsule of old corner deli culture, now that the corner delis have become nothing more than a place to buy lottery tickets.

Don't go unless you have LOTS of time to wait to place your order and then wait again for it to be prepared. disorganized system to process the amount of people who come through especially at lunch time. Food isn't that great- it's a deli. you can make your own quicker and cheaper!

The sandwiches are good but the staff doesnt take directions well. I asked twice for the 2 times ive been there for extra mayo, oil, vinegar and they still didnt get it right. I guess their too busy singing out loud with no music.

They don't know how make Reubens. I asked about French Fries they don't make them every Deli I been too has French Fries. I got Reuben and I told her how like it and she like that not Reuben she said it slope joe. I said it Reuben- with either pastrami or corned beef and sauerkraut and Swiss cheese and I either get Russian dressing or thousand island dressing on it. Didn't have any of that on it just some meat. Italian subs have hardly oil and vinegar and Oregano on it. Very disappointing they slow and take for every to take your order. It's ran by different people. My Brother said they used to be great but not anymore. It cost me 67.00 for five sandwiches that wasn't great won't be getting my business anymore. I can go Shoprite and get better sub for my money. Over priced. I rather get my sandwiches and wraps from Joe's Meat Market in South Brook NJ

The BEST Ruben in town, not some sloppy, buttery, soft breaded mess like you find elsewhere. Not the fastest spot when you have a short lunch break, so call ahead. Fresh, dried or aged meats hanging along the counter helps make it feel like what I imagine a deli would’ve been like ‘back in the day’. Quality food from quality staff!

This dump cleaned it's grill and stopped serving hot sandwiches more than 30 minutes before they close. They had a line of 4 ppl waiting for their cold sandwiches because 1 of the 2 people working was wasting time tearing down their ability to make their product. They close at 230 on Sundays. It's already early. I was counting on this sandwich too. I was about to drive for 3 hours. The customers standing around waiting actually howled in support of me too. I just walked out but was glad a few ppl stayed behind to make the employees uncomfortable. Ruined the afternoon. And from the looks of these reviews they've ruined a few others too.

Used to be a solid go to place for a well-packed Boarshead sandwich, but now its just thin, overpriced, and disappointing. These are the result of two $8 sandwiches... literally 2 slices per side. Don't bother to be open if this is the garbage you are gonna sell.

I love Steck's and make it a point to go when I get a chance but today my girlfriend found bugs mixed into the lettuce of her sandwich. I don't think we'll ever be going back.
