The produce section has major problems every time I come here. Last year it was consistent fruit flies on the tomatoes and onions for several months. Most recently it was moldy strawberries and watermelon. I'll be going to a different store from now on, even though I'll have to drive further.

I don't know if it was because it was late night or what... but that attendant was really rude and mean. As I was approaching to him, he made a bad face and he did a sarcastic comment to his coworker. Then he said that it is my job to look for the item, not his job. It's my first time doing shopping for doordash, and I wanted to get all correct. But that guy was all but good attendant.

The store was layed out well, nicely conditioned aisles, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything was fresh and their fruit was amazing as well.

I always find items can't locate elsewhere. Sales can be awesome. Non sales pricing could be better.

This review is for the deli/catering department — I recently ordered a large tray of assorted croissant sandwiches for a party and they were absolutely fantastic!! Really fresh ingredients, thoughtfully put together and enjoyed by everyone. So many guests asked where we got the sandwiches and were pleasantly surprised when I told them they came from Acme because they easily could have been from a high end cafe or catering company. Will definitely return for future events!

We judge supermarkets based upon many factors, including pricing, cleanliness, quality of the staff, etc. We have been coming here since it was an A&P and continue to occasionally stop by as it's sometimes more convenient than our usual haunts. I have only this to say: The frontend staff here is among the worst I've ever experienced. Otherwise, the store is, mostly, like the other Acmes we've shopped in the region. I know it's hard to find people willing to work for the low wages typically found in chain supermarkets, and I wouldn't even mention this issue if it was just some folks having a bad day (or five) but almost every single experience at the checkout here has been notable because they are so uniformly bad. I would add that their meat department provides far better quality options than the local Shop Rite chain. Update: June 1, 2022 Found myself here again today and again the frontend staff demonstrated utterly awful behavior. With the new bag rules in NJ in effect, I brought my own bags as required, but the cashier (a young man) refused to at first pack my order in them. It was only when I handed him one of my bags that he got the hint and packed just one of over 12 bags of groceries. Then when I got home I saw he had packed that one bag horribly, resulting in a crushed cake. The incompetence here is unbelievable and the manager and/or higher ups at ACME should be ashamed. And don't get me started on the insane prices! This store is well and truly the worst supermarket I've been in anywhere in Morris County and that includes most of them.

Good quality foods, but selection of many items is limited. It seems locally made products have been eliminated and they only carry products that are nationally distributed which is unfortunate.

Its really fun to shop here. Its never that crazy crowded. That's mainly why I come here, because I can shop without all the people rushing by. They used to have phenomenal croissants. I think the baker keeps changing. Croissants are no longer that awesome. Still so much better than a number of other stores'. The only thing I can think of complaining is the darn digital coupons. The website is a little confusing to work on.
