Horrible customer service practices!!!!! They will lie to you about what time you can pick up the rental, they suggest between 8 - 9 am because the rental you want may be taken. When you decide that Ok, I'll take my chances and come in later, their response is you can not decide the time we only rent between 8 - 9 am, we're keeping your deposit. Mind you, I received nothing in writing regarding these so called rules that I agreed to. Stick with Budget, Enterprise, and other legitimate companies that are not out to make a quick buck off of unsuspecting customers.

Searched for a van with 14 ft cargo space. These guys had the best price (including 10% discount of daily rental fee if paying cash) and availability. Arrived pick up day to a brand new van with 2,600 miles on it. Drove beautifully and carried my cargo with ease. Staff explained all my options clearly and delivered on all levels. Excellent experience all the way around.

If you need to rent a car and you do not have a credit card, you will need to leave a $500 deposit , cash or debit , but if you do have a credit card, it is a $300 deposit. Plus the rental fee of the vehicle. Plus insurance if you buy from them if you don't have full coverage of your own. Their vehicles aren't the greatest things in the world for the obvious reasons. They have everything from economy cars to 26 foot trucks, and refrigerated trucks. Just about the only place that is reasonable with prices and how they go about renting to the poors. Found this place on the Internet for a small move. The man who had my vehicle cane late without filling up with gas and some damages on the truck. That delayed the transfer. I wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Jose was very helpful as he started my paperwork early and got me out of there in a decent time. The Sprinter was fine and the move was done. Nancy at the counter was very efficient and got 10% off the already reasonable rate. The CC is all squared away. I would recommend Fairmount very highly and will support this local business.
