The rite aid on New prospect avenue in Jackson. Pharmacy and staff very rude and impatient. Sent my daughter in to learn how to take care of her own prescription . I don't understand why professionals think they can treat children and elderly people so rudely. You would think that they know that when people come to get a prescription they're not feeling well.

Waow- i was impressed with the quality and care of Paulina at the Rite Aid pharmacy on South New Prospect in Jackson. She went above and beyond all expectations! My 7 yrs old went to the ENT this morning and was prescribed antibiotic drops. Thinking that after a full day, the prescription would be ready, i went to Rite Aid to pick it up. They couldnt find the prescription... the ENT office simply did not send it in! I called their office and left a message and left Rite Aid thinking my daughter cant wait a day.. Arrived home, i connect to the patient portal and see that the prescription is there. I print it, and go back to Rite Aid. Unfortunately, it is not a valid prescription. And here is where Paulina comes in place: she calls the doctor office, then write down the emergency number, called it , spoke to someone in length that kept saying we had to wait for the next day (it was 6:30 ish after office hours). Paulina kept insisting on the phone and hanged up only when they finally agree to page the doctor so he can and confirm! Really thumbs up for Paulina! If Everyone cared like her!! Great customer/patient service at Rite Aid!!!

I would like to thank Hina Patel the Pharmacy manager for always to help. Also to Barry too. I had an issue with my mothers medications and they tried everything to help find a solution. Everyone who works in the store is always so pleasant with hellos and asking if we need help finding something Thank you to everyone.

I was here Wednesday before the holiday and Daxa was working. She helped me tremendously. I did not believe was going to make it to Thanksgiving dinner bc I was so sick. Her diagnosis was on point and the medication fixed me almost immediately. She was very thorough, kind and attentive. I am beyond grateful. She deserves much praise.

However the issue is not what I am here to speak on, it was the action of the Manager Vinny Volpi. Not only did he handle the issue with true care and decency, he personally resolved the issue by driving the medication to my home as it was for my 18 month old daughter whom was sick. Something came up, and for whatever reason the time we were told the medicine would be ready, we were met with resistance about it not being done when we arrived, waited for an additional 20 minutes, at which point we had to leave to get my daughter home to rest. Well, we called up to explain our displeasure, and this is right where Vinny stepped in to restore our faith in humanity once again. Here is a big thank you from us, Happy Holidays!!!!!
