Never had an issue here. Came to take a look at the perfumes while on break for work. There was a blonde employee eyeing me down. If I moved aisles she would follow. I fully left the section and moved on to the Too Faced section and bam there she was again poking her head in the aisle to spy on me. Very unprofessional and a great way to make customers leave. Will not be coming back here until they teach their employees proper etiquette.

I went to this Ulta today and Halle was amazing! You can tell she really cares about the customers, she was incredibly helpful and assisted me with everything I needed! 10/10 experience.

I went in yesterday and noticed they had a salon. I asked the nice woman if she was able to do a money piece on my hair plus some lowlights. I even showed some pictures of what I exactly wanted. I came in around 2pm and left at 530pm. She was friendly but my hair is not what I wanted nor expected. I'm just not happy with it. Especially being there for 3 hrs. At one point she cleaned the bleaching with a water spray and cloth. Water was dripping down my face and some of it got in my eye, as you can see in the photo with the bleached pieces my eye was red. It got worse in the evening when I got home. I have added a close up of my eye. Overall it wasn't a great experience.

If I could give 0 starts I would. This place is so messy and besides that the people who works in here are honestly miserable and so rude to the customers. Halle, one of the associate at the register welcomed me with attitude when I told her I need to do some returns and pickup an order. The whole time doing the transaction , she just sighed and makes you think she hates her job. She started cursing while she was doing the transaction. I guess because she couldn’t scanned the receipts. She started to squeezed and shaken all the products to see if I was returning something that was empty. That made me feel uncomfortable plus her attitude. After all that, she called her manager because it needs an authorization to process my return. Waited there for like 20 minutes - no manager showed up and the whole time the associate was on her phone . I have to reminded her that I need to pick up some products even though I mentioned that to her before she start to process the return. Otherwise, probably she would be on her phone the whole time. This not the first time this place and this specific location , associates makes you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Rudest general manager i have ever talked to. Inquired about an expensive item they have and asked how many they have in stock because I wanted to buy 3. She rudely told me "it does not matter since you can only purchase one" asked her name and says in a proud voice as if she owns the store " i am the general manager" will definitely send an email to corporate to get her back in training. I am planning to buy 3 items and as I diamond member, and bringing business to them even some of my friends and be treated this way. It was around 10:30am. I am bringing my business elsewhere from this day forward.

pickup system is stupid. I placed it on the app but the app is completely irrelevant in the pickup process because you have to show them the email confirmation to get your order that makes sense but then on TOP of all that you have to show them your id and to get order which it doesn’t state anywhere on the app. When I told the girl I didn’t have it you’d think she’d show some leniency being that I clearly have the order on my app and the email. She goes “it won’t let me process the order on the device. I showed her a photo of my id and all she had to was press a button to override it LMAO a whole joke. I prefer the Clark location they don’t do all the extra. Won’t be going pickup here again.

I have been to this Ulta many many times & overall my experience has been ok with the exception of today. The young lady with black & green hair was quite rude & unpleasant. I asked politely where I could find a particular brand; she guided me with an attitude and did not bother to say your welcome when I thanked her which was fine but unpleasant. She also gave my husband an attitude when he asked her for a cologne. On another note the young lady with purple hair was a delight and provided some recommendations which is the only reason I stayed to shop.

I really like this store in the area for beauty. It near for Newark-and Kearny . I highly recommend this store for all girls around here. I always buy my shampoo and bath 🛀 stuff from here. Workers are amazing. They are very helpful.

I write this review completely on behalf of my wife who feels this Ulta Beauty is a long time coming in the neighborhood of Harrison. She was a regular to Ulta Beauty when we were in Minnesota and after we moved to NJ, we had to travel all the way out to Clifton location for her cosmetics or hair needs. We have been to this place couple of times already and it has the same essence of what an Ulta Beauty would always have, in terms of landscape and placements. We recently went to this place and was attended by Sara who was very good and wisely helped my wife choose her stuff. The price is always something that I’ve never bought into when it comes to this beauty place. But keeping that aside, this is definitely a good place for a woman’s beauty needs.
