Great price Con Artist customer service. Got a great price on the TV online then got a call the next day from George asking me why I bought that particular model. Ask what he meant and he said mine was the older model with 8 bit processor and lower pixel count. And it would be shipped from overseas and would take 21 to 29 days. Another lie it took 37. So for only $400.00 more he would talk to his manager and get me the newer model with 10 bit processor and higher picture pixel count. Not only that but it was assembled in Mexico and would arrive in 5-9 days. I called and emailed LG and they said they only make 1 model. There is not a lower model with an 8 bit processor. They only come in 10 bit. So waited 39 days to get TV and when turning it on it had a blue and black vertical line in the center of the screen. Did not call EAST COAST TV because I could only imagine the runaround they would give me. Called LG and technician came out the next day but bad news had to order new screen. 1 week later it was up and running. Would not recomend EAST COAST TV unless you have time to wait. The price of the TV dropped locally within $500.00 at Best Buy. Would have been worth it to save the hassle of dealing with deception tactics from EAST COAST TV.

I placed an order online, and got a confirmation email. The order didn't arrive, so I tried tracking it. The order didn't exist. I tried calling customer service; they were short, rushed, and a bit rude but said they would look into it and call back. They didn't. I called again, to get another rude staff member who kept cutting me off. He said they don't even make this TV anymore, so why was I surprised not to receive it? I told him I would think it's up to them to keep their website up to date, and to notify me if an order was cancelled. I didn't receive any kind of apology, or resolution...just the knowledge that I'm not getting the TV I ordered. I bought from them during Black Friday, which means I missed out on 40% off sales elsewhere, and I've wasted half a month waiting for a TV that was never coming. The least they could do was to send me a cancellation message, or apologize. They did neither, and were rude on top of that. I don't know how they stay in business with practices like this. The one good thing about this experience is that the wait for a human on the phone is less than a minute...but that doesn't matter considering the level of help and sympathy you get when they answer. I'd rather wait 30 minutes for real help.

Don't waste your time !!!! I sat there and read some reviews that were positive and some negative, but soon came to realize , the positive ones are fake. I will upload a pic of the order. My order went exactly like everyone else's review stated it would. 1. Order tv 2. Get confirmation email 3. Get another email saying to call and "confirm." 4. Stay on hold a really long time (20min) 5. Get asked why you didn't get the upgraded model 6. Get asked if you want to expedite the shipping up from the 28 days ( what takes 28 days to shop anyway?!?!) 7. Once you deny both , they say "ok well send your tv" and hang up. Here is when I expect they will just leave the order pending. My order is still pending status after days of sitting there. I finally emailed and told them to cancel. After going to a more trusted and larger retailer in person, the nice gentlemen explained the features of the TV, what I did and didn't have to upgrade ( according to my budget and needs) and took the thing home after 30 min with peace of mind. That's exemplary customer service. He was also kind enough to explain most carriers have a price lock on their products so retailers have similar prices on these newer tv's. So if you see it for hundreds less, it's too good to be true. Plain and simple, they lure people in to simply up sell them (claiming in my case I ordered the 8 but not the 10bit, which LG also confirmed it was only a 10 but TV) to get the price near retail so they can half deliver on the services and make the money back.

Ordered my TV on Black Friday and the website said it would ship in 1-2 days. The following week I received an email asking me to call and confirm my order. When I called I was informed the TV wouldn't ship for 21-28 days unless I paid for their expedited shipping and white glove service for $199. I'm seriously considering contacting the state attorney general and filing a complaint.

Very disappointed with this seller. Purchased a TV and had them convince me to do their express white glove service (pay extra in order to receive it in 1 week). One week passes and no information and product has not shipped. Called them and they stated a bunch of TVs fell off a truck which is why the shipment was delayed (nice try!). A few days pass and still no shipment. So I sent email stating to cancel if it does not ship that day. Get an email back to call their customer service manager (despite my leaving a phone number in my message, I have to call them...whatever happened to customer service!). I call, get voice mail and never hear from him. Several days later I reach out to them again (since they don't return voice mails or emails) and they say 'Oh, we cancelled your order as you instructed.' Well, thanks for letting me know. Oh yeah, it took them over 1 week to process my refund! I decided to purchase on Amazon as a slightly higher price, and it was worth it. They kept me updated when it looked like the TV would ship late, they called me a few times and still met their commit date. Amazon knows how to treat customers; East Coast TVs -- not!

If I could give less than one star I would. The price on the TV I ordered was great except for that I never got the TV. I placed the order and like other reviewers entered the code for the 2% discount along with my CC #. I got the order confirmation and 5 days later the order still showed processing. I called and was told that that promo code was only for certified check or wire transfer. OK, no problem. Remove the 2% discount and process my order but why did you not contact me for 5 days?! They also pulled the BS you need white glove delivery or we aren't responsible for any damage and there's a standard 2% insurance fee that will be applied. Suddenly the total cost wasn't looking that great but now I'm somewhat invested in the order so I'm riding it out. Another week later there's still no shipping information so I call again. I'm told that the order shipped via private trucking company and they'd be calling by that Friday for a delivery appointment. Friday came and went with no call and still no tracking number on the site or e-mail confirmation that the order shipped which is what it says will happen on their website. So I call on Monday to check and they say they'll check it out and hang up on me! They never call back and the order is not updated. I call Tuesday and they tell me that the TV was cracked and they didn't know until they called the shipper. I call BS and they tell me they are re-shipping a new unit immediately and will refund $50 to my card. So I ask if they will send me a tracking number as soon as they have one. Absolutely! They say....Yeah right....Wednesday still no tracking, no shipping e-mail, order not updated on website. I called and told them to cancel and they were like OK so guessing they never shipped the TV at all. Now I've submitted a dispute with my CC company to ensure I get my refund since these guys are super shady and will probably try and short me or not refund at all. NEVER USE THEM THEY ARE AWFUL!

Read the reviews!!! Stay Away!!! I placed an order on Sunday for a receiver and powered sub, and was immediately contacted by a representative (by phone). The "manager" attempted to charge me $65 for "fed-ex" shipping versus the "free shipping" that would take approx. 3 weeks. We negotiated the price down to $25. They were very pushy and arrogant on the phone and basically attacked me whenever I had any hesitation towards their tactics. My credit card was declined due to Chase alerting to "East Coast TVs" as a fraud (shame on me for not bailing out of the deal at this point). I had to give them a new credit card number and I was assured that my product would arrive before the upcoming weekend. The final numbers didn't match, so I inquired as to why there was an extra $20 charge. I was told, "Oh, didn't he tell you.....your code for a 2% discount is only valid if you pay by check". I was charged for an amount that was definitely NOT what I agreed to pay. Now suspicious (and very irritated) I started reading the reviews. All of the negative reviews led me to believe that I was going to be very disappointed and that my items were going to take significantly longer to receive than I had been led to believe. I made another call, sat on hold for 38 minutes, and inquired as to when I should expect my order. The rep informed me that there was no way I would receive my order before the weekend. That's not what I was previously told by the "manager". WAY TOO MANY RED FLAGS. I cancelled my order. I will gladly pay a few extra dollars to a reputable company than to deal with this B.S. I am very disappointed in Google for the misleading rating. How can they have a 4-star rating when nine out of ten reviews are 1-star??? (And that's only because there isn't a zero-star option). I am 40 years old, and this is my first time writing a Google review. My experience was THAT BAD.

I ordered a 70 inch Sharp TV. East Coast TVs had the best price by far. They delivered it to my living room and the shippers waited till I had it plugged in and working. They left after I was satisfied with my order. What more could you ask for? Thanks for the great TV and great service. There was no up-selling on my order.

This was the worst online buying experience I ever had. Like everyone else noted "buyer beware". They promised white glove delivery but never delivered. I called several times and the first thing they would say is it is being shipped or it has shipped. But if I am getting white glove delivery, I would have needed to be contacted on a 4 hour delivery window. Since I was never contacted, I know it wasn't shipped. These guys have no shame...very sleazy. There may be good reviews, but even some people involved in a Ponzi scheme will benefit. I had to contact my credit card company to dispute transaction. They contacted me to dissuade me from cancelling promising delivery by Friday, 6/26. I even alerted them that I was recording their promise of delivery and even that didn't deter them from not delivering. These are the sleazy type of people you are dealing with. There are so many negative reviews you are taking your chances from ordering from these guys.
