Maryann is incredibly rude. How many reviews and surveys need to be done before something is actually done about the poor customer service at this location?

I always get good service. The employees are professional and courteous to me. I would give a five star except for the parking and access is difficult to carry packages up or down the steep stairs. There’s always a good chance my vehicle side mirror will be hit by passing traffic. Fold in your mirror.

OH MY GODDD. THE OLD LADY WITH THE DARK HAIR IS AS MISERABLE AS THEY COME! I read all the reviews on here about her, but I thought "what the heck, it's a post office.. you get in and get out" NO. She has an issue with EVERYTHING. I stood there waiting for over 4 minutes (I rang the bell twice) and she has the nerve to act like I'M the one bothering her. Im shocked she hasn't been fired yet with all the negative reviews about her. she is MISERABLE.

Every time I have ever had to use this god awful post office has been a nightmare. The short lady with the long black hair has been there for ten years+ and she has ALWAYS been SO miserable. When I go inside, there is never anyone at the counter unless someone was already there dropping packages off. Otherwise you have to stand there and wait for what seems like forever. I literally will go to ANY other post office. Also had a family member try to drop something off in their outside drop boxes a few days ago, and couldn't even get the letter in cause it was overflowing. This place is a disgrace to all other USPS locations.

I use multiple post offices and the Pitman post office is absolutely the pits. It's a great town but how can everyone who works in that post office be so miserable on professional and uncaring. Every time I've walked in there I've had to yell out for somebody to help me after waiting patiently and then be told to ring the bell. I've never seen either of the two people that work there crack smile... Unless they are the same person and just dyed their hair. They are rude and unprofessional. Why is this allowed to go on...?

The older lady with the dark hair is very rude, I honestly don't know how she still works there. Every other post office I go to has no problem taping on a label

The lady with dark hair that works there is super unhelpful and very rude all of the times I’ve gone there to drop off a package. It makes me dread going to the post office. I agree with the other comments about hiring more friendly people to work the front desk!

The lady with the dark hair (Maryann?) is incredibly rude and miserable every single time my husband and I visit this post office. Really confused as to why she would chose to work a job dealing with the public if she obviously hates people. I refuse to go here any longer, I’d rather drive an hour to another post office than deal with that.

I would rather not even give this one star if I had the choice. The woman with dark hair that works at the counter at the Pitman location (I believe her name is Maryann) is the rudest person I've come across in Pitman. I've closed out my P.O. box because she was so rude and refused to help whenever I had questions. She has also been rude to my other family members when they've gone in. I've had other people from town complaining about her also. Why would the USPS allow someone like this to work at the front desk??? Pitman is a wonderful town and I have always been greeted by establishments in town with friendly people. Shake my head!

I cannot fathom why the older lady that works the counter in the morning works in a position where she has to deal with the public given that she is so miserable and seems to have issue with anything that does not suit her liking. She refused to ship a package for me this week claiming various issues she had with it then proceded to mark it with magic marker and place stickers all over it claiming I cold receive various penalty’s. If she wasn’t shipping it then why mark it up out of spite? I removed the stickers coverd over her markings and immediately went to a nearby post office where they accepted it without ANY changes and it was deliverd this morning with no issues. If you dare to be in conversation with another patron and inadvertently wander your toes past the line on the floor be prepared for a rude and abusive challenge to you offense. Dare to put a package on her counter uninvited and guess what? I guess I will have to give up the convenience of my hometown post office and go to the neighboring one where at least you greeted with good morning, can I help you?
