This is my go-to hardware store and locksmith in the South Slope. I am a gardener and a member of the local community garden at 15th Street & 6th Avenue and I always go there first because Ayman (the proprietor) and his family are knowledgeable, kind and helpful and usually have what I am looking for. The store is an old-fashioned Mom and Pop with long narrow aisles and things can be hard to find, but just ask them. Wonderful people.

Skip Lowe’s and Home Depot if you can do it. The service at those big chains is TRASH. I’m done! This place has amazing service, you come in with your questions and walk out with exactly the piece you were looking for at a fair deal. I’ve spent the last 2 days at Lowe’s searching through their entire plumbing department and finding nothing! Jorge was amazing, I needed a weird fitting and he walked through all the items trying everything out in order to make sure I walked out with what I needed.

Sold me a tile cutter drill bit, that was broken in the package. When I returned it, they refused to give me credit towards a better one, less than 20 minutes after I bought the thing. Never used it to cut the tile. Now I'm out 12 dollars, a 1/2 hour of my time, and still no drill bit. Frauds and crooks. Save your time and money and go to Leopodli.

Great local shop, has a friendly staff and everything you need!! A nice respite from the mass-market juggernauts like Lowes and Home Depot.
