OMG Tom is a hoot! So fun and easygoing. He wowed us with his knowledge of different grapes and winemakers, and got us to double our purchase - and we couldn't have been happier!!! Leaving this review two weeks later as we've now drunk all of his recommendations, and they were as delicious as advertised. The place is deceiving upon first walking in, as others have mentioned, but the selection is incredible, and the service even better! We only got one picture, and we can highly recommend this winemaker for both their reds and the pictures rosé (thanks Tom 😄)

My favorite liquor store in the area! Their selection of local and esoteric/unique liquors and wines is wonderful. The staff is friendly and all are generally knowledgeable. But I've also learned that, when I want something special, a number of the staff are passionate about and have in-depth knowledge of their respective drink of choice. It's worth going in when they're working to learn something new and get a great recommendation!

What a wonderful store! There is nothing else like it in the area. Tom has a broad selection, low brow to high brow, anything you might need or not know you need but you do, and a fantastic selection of single barrels and store selections that he personally tastes and selects. Everyone working there is kind and knowledgeable and I always leave laughing and with something I later enjoy. Definitely a go to spot if you are anywhere in the Catskills area!

Best selection in Greene County! Spirits of Cairo is always getting in new tasty things to try, plus they host tastings on Fridays and Saturdays so you can sample something new or have a little taste of an old favorite. Whether it’s wine, tequila, whiskey, or anything else, Tom is incredibly knowledgeable so if you need to pick up a gift or you’re just trying to find something new, he’s the man to ask.

This store is a true gem. The wine selection is amazing: whether you are looking for a moderately priced bottle for a casual party or a grand cru vintage for a special event, the offerings run the gamut. Then there is the spirits selection... I'm a gin lover, and I'm in heaven every time I step into that section. With the variety of spirits and the number of brands they carry, it can sometimes be overwhelming. But fear not, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and will always stir you in the right direction. And if you happen to be helped by Tom, the store owner, you are in for a treat. He's funny, witty and knows his stuff like no one! The clerks are friendly and the store is very well merchandised. Most of my friends who visit from New York always comment on how much they can find here, more than in most stores in the city. As I said when I started this review: this store is a GEM!!!

Amazing store. It’s a store with personality, from both the staff and the selection. Everything from value gems to top shelf stunners, Tom and his staff love to show you what you need to try and are happy to provide amazing service! I love visiting Spirits of Cairo every time I’m in Greene County!

Whenever I go into the store, I am always greeted with happy, pleasant employees. The owner Tom is a great guy who would go out of his way to help you with anything — wether it’s something they have in stock or something that has to be ordered. Employees are ALWAYS helpful and knowledgeable of their product, and the prices are always phenomenal!

Disneyland for grown-ups! I LOVE this liquor store! The selection here is insane! They carry all of the regular stuff, but so much more. I love discovering the new brands that they carry. They have tastings to inform their customers, but even more - they are so well informed! Oftentimes, I walk into a liquor store and ask for advice, and the staff really doesn't know what to say. Not here. Tom knows so much about pretty much everything he carries (how DOES he hold all of that information in his head???), and the people who work there know too. Aside from all of this, they are fun! I've never been in here when I haven't come out smiling. Have I mentioned that I LOVE this liquor store? ;)
