Don’t go here . Went to get my Jeep inspected . Was there for 6 hours waiting just for that for it to fail because of A DIRTY PARKING BRAKE. And to top it all off : A worker came to the front desk lady what was going on with my Jeep because he was ready to go home . Never going back here

Did not like that u pay $150 to reboot your air conditioning and they can not even tell u were your leak is ..you must come back in 2 weeks or when u need another boost..Total Rip off ..Did not like that No one was wearing a mask felt unsafe 4 weeks ago when masks where still a thing..Did not like that I made a appointment and still had to wait 45 minutes for them to pull car in..I was actually outside calling others when they pulled my car in ..Unlucky Me! Yes me again ..Turned on air conditioning this season.. surprise does not work.went back to MIDAS ..They literally stretched out the hour so they can charge me an hour's worth of Labor fees. The guy was working on another car and mine( because I was watching him)..at same time .he went in the office and talk to the supervisor for about 10 minutes and they still charge me a full hour's labor and yes I argued about it.. I told him it was fully charged yet still not working . So they emptied it and put more in so they can charge me another $134 for that and the actual part that was wrong the relays which was $55 so I walked out paying about$288. For the same air conditioner they fixed last year..

Ok I went here literally to get my transmission fluid looked at and my break pads replaced and I needed an inspection. They said it would be done by the end of the day, I called back five hours later and the guy on the phone does the classic sketchy mechanic thing where he’s like “oh man this car is really bad shape” he recommends I take it back, buy a new car. Tries to Freak me out. Then he says for the car to pass inspection it’ll need over 3,000 dollars in repairs. Both back breaks, front tie rod, he claimed both my break lines were broken (which is insane) and that I needed new suspension parts and coils. Which I knew for a fact none of those things were true. Honestly they saw a girl walk in and they tried to really screw me over. They didn’t check transmission fluid or change break pads. When I said I wasn’t doing the work and wanted to get the car back, he tried to charge 180 dollars for the New York State inspection. That’s when I knew they were really trying to mess with me. Since I’ve taken it to two mechanics who said the cars in great shape. Passed inspection no problem. Had to get one wheel bearing replaced which mind you was not even on the list midas quoted me. Don’t ever go here. They’re just trying to suck ya dry.

This is the most honest and professional garage I have ever frequented; and the only place I'll go. I started to go to Gabe when he was the manager for the Midas's in Latham and Colonie. I worked with him briefly while in college, 20 years ago at the Latham location. This is where he proved to me what a heart felt and honest man he is! He then became the owner of the Midas in Hudson, and continues to work with dignity every day. He trains his staff to be the same way, and if they are not, he will not take negative behavior. So rest assured the entire staff is amazing. From the office manager, Cheyene, to all the techs. Honest and SUPER friendly! Services: Tires, Brakes, Oil change, Wheel alignment, Battery, Engine repair, Auto engine tuning, Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Steering & suspension repair

I was interested in the buy 3 cooper tires get the 4th free. The guy i talked to was polite and patient. Their computer system was ungodly slow hence it was cool that the guy was patient. It took 5ish minutes to give me a quote of $880 and another 5 minutes to give a quote on another set of tires. In the end i got the same exact coopers at pep boys for under $700. It pays to shop around.

These guys have saved me more than once. Sometimes without cost ( I always give a tip) and sometimes with a very reasonable price. Don't go to a dealer. They will generally rip you off. At Midas, you really have to make an appointment. They are always really busy! Friendly staff and professional...

My car broke down when I was vacationing in Hudson. I called three places and Midas said they could get me in that day. Since I needed to travel to my next destination and pay for a rental car, I had it towed there thinking I could get my car back quickly. What a mistake. Obviously saying they could get to it that day was a rouse because they didn't get to until 3 days later. They never communicated with me and I would have to call to check on progress a couple times a day. Staff is not friendly. They over charged me because they knew they had me over a barrel and to top it off, after repairing my brake lines they told me that they didn't know how to get the brake light off. I told them just to leave it, as long as I could get home I'd take it to my usual place. I had to laugh when I got in my car because it wasn't even the brake light that was on, it was the tire pressure light. I wonder how hard they tried to fix it since they didn't even know the difference between a yellow tire pressure light and a red brake light. Maybe they should try looking into a car manual. When I took it into my normal mechanic, he had to patch up the work they had done even though I paid $700. Stay away from this place is my best advice. Service: Brakes

Good service and friendly atmosphere. Very well run and competent workers. The manager Cheyenne was very personable. Gabriel, the owner, is very courteous and is really concerned about making sure you are happy with the work done. Very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back when I need work done on my cars
