For the last and current years I’ve been quiet active shopper since I “build my kit”. The Adorama store is probably the most convenient store for me to get to and I’m glad that most of time they have what I need in stock so I can pick it up. Sometimes it feels a bit weird at the store because it’s quiet, from one point of view no music is fine, but if there is any - it’s not everywhere … kinda weird. I feel like it’s missing atmosphere a bit, but then the employees probably all have a different taste and it could be messy to choose a playlist… anyhow spending money could be a bit more fun I think with some good music there. Huge shoutout to Will at Nikon and Alex En and Nick Br in video, BTW there was a girl once who helped me with getting a light and I never seen her again, but she was so nice and she could talk to like a human and not to Tech spilling here and there, that’s probably what I also like from the other employees I shopped with before. When I buy gear I need the results and not spec list. It’s either works and does the job or it’s a waste of money. Always helps to check out some Seth’s recommendations before buying +100 to humanity meter.

10 days to receive an in stock item when I live within 10 miles of the store? My how far Adorama has fallen. Adorama now is back down to the bottom of my list behind Unique Photo, Best Buy, Amazon and B&H. Not only has it taken them days to ship something that they said is in stock they are trying to blame UPS claiming that somehow the product that is "on its way" really isn't and it is a UPS paperwork thing.

I would like to express my gratitude to the sales person of Adorama - Mike Kobal. It’s been several years since I have been a customer of Adorama. From the very first visit I got lucky to be assisted by Mike. He has always provided highly professional assistance, answers any questions and gives excellent recommendations on products. He is also a photographer and always speaks with the perspective of his own experience because we have the same model of Sony camera. I appreciate the quality of his service and I am always glad to come back to the store for new purchases when he is there. Ask for him, guys!

Received an empty box with a piece of plastic when I ordered a scanner. They made me return their useless piece of plastic and empty box. I shipped it back to their warehouse and now they’re telling me that the plastic needs to be inspected before I get credit back. It’s been a week since they received their piece of junk back and they still have not given me a refund. I urge everyone to stay away from here. Especially online orders. I cannot speak for in person purchases but do not shop here online. They are horrible. I literally just paid over $120 to get an empty box and my time wasted.

I decided to move from my Sony a68 crop sensor to a full frame camera. I have been a Sony user for years and wanted to stick with them. After searching, reading reviews, watching YouTube videos, and reading comments, I finally decided on the Sony a7III. I have done business with Adorama before and was very pleased, so I checked their selection of used cameras (more in my budget), plus B&H, KEH, eBay and Amazon. There were some good deals on eBay, but many did not offer returns and few mentioned warranty. I called the used department at Adorama and was given great customer service, and they patiently let me ask all the questions. They have grades for their cameras from new, open box, Excellent+, Excellent, Excellent-, and so on. I decided to buy a Sony a7III rated as E, excellent, and at a good price. Not the lowest price I had found, but very close considering they have a 30-day money back and a 6 month guarantee. The camera arrived, and I cannot tell it was ever used! It doesn't have a scratch, bruise, or anything to show it was ever used. The only thing that verified it wasn't new was the shutter count was 2078. What a great deal! If you are looking for camera gear, I suggest you look at Adorama.

This is the most frustrating online purchase I've ever made. On December 23, 2021, I finally received my long-awaited package. Did not expect to receive a damaged box. I am concerned that the earphones in the box will be damaged. I took a video when I opened the box. Omg, didn't expect it to be an empty box when I opened it. I quickly contacted customer service and sent photos and video to Adorama and UPS. UPS sent the claim report to Adorama on January 24, 2022. But Adorama did not email me until February 3, 2022, denying my claim. I waited 43 days and received a reply from Adorama denying the claim. Did I pay $600 for a broken empty box? No, I bought a broken dream Westone W80 - V3 headphones and regretted the Adorama.

Package shows up 4 days later than scheduled delivery. Box is beat up torn open and taped over by presumably ups but I suppose it could have been sent like this. The package is missing the main item. Now adorama is telling me I have to wait for ups to finish their investigation before anything else can proceed. This may take up to ten days. THIS IS AN ISSUE BETWEEN ADORAMA AND UPS LEAVE ME OUT OF IT AND SEND ME WHAT I ORDERED. I have bought thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from this place in the last year alone and this is how I get treated. Customer service is a joke. The first person I was e-mailing regurgitated the info on ups website over and over and over as I was trying to at least go pick up the package that was 3 days late at that time. The second series of e-mail, the person never even read the actual issue and had no idea that I was missing an item after 7 hours of back and forth e-mails. This person wanted me to send back an EMPTY box. This has been the most frustrating online purchase I have ever made. This company refuses to even update me with what is going on. I have sent at least 15 unanswered e-mails today.

I was helped by Michelle with finding a lantern soft box for my godox v1 and she also helped me choose the correct adapter to use. She was friendly and helpful from beginning to end and most importantly she was knowledgeable on how to use each product. Absolutely a great experience. I don’t mind going out of my way to shop at Adorama because I know I always leave the store with peace of mind. We need more people like Michelle who can share knowledge and provide that personalized communication. Thank you!

Ordered online from Adorama and was very impressed with their delivery, even to the west coast of Canada. Ordered Dec 22nd, received Dec 24th! Thanks for getting my headphones here before Christmas and at a great price too! Will be ordering from them again.
