Do not order any printing from this location. Never gets it right. Tried twice and both times the poster didn't come out right. First time the whole image was messed up with only color lines, second time the size wasn't right. And not times the customer service there will just keep repeating to you that it's right and that's what the system puts out.

Awful store. Needs restocking and the staff are shockingly rude. I will avoid this store for the rest of my stay. Avoid the place.

Chain of everything you need really. I found this store centrally located but bit overcrowded shelves. The night staff did make a difference thou. Friendly and very attentive. Despite single numbers.

If I could have given no stars, I would have. On 30th of October I visited NYC for work and traveled with my beau and once we dropped our bags off at the Intercontinental around the corner we decided to visit a near by store for essentials, toothbrush, body wash and such. We went into the Duane Reade said good evening, as is practice in our country, grabbed a basket and proceeded to shop. About 10 minutes into shopping (it took us this long since the products were in disarray and it was hard to find items) two policemen came down the aisle told my beau to turn around and raise his hands, which he did then he went back to shopping. I asked what was the issue and the first policeman threatened to arrest us once we left the store, stating that one of the employees saw us put a box of condoms into our pockets and we needed to empty our pockets. Since my beau did not have any pockets and I had on a jacket, I, totally insulted told him that we came to get a few things and proceeded to empty my pockets showing there was nothing in them. At the end of this foolishness I told my beau, lets go to another store. We went to the counter paid for the items in our basket and left. My issue with the clerks was that, not once did they get up from where they were sitting having conversation, did they offer to assist us with shopping which would have showed them we are not stealing condoms, of all things. SMH. CVS has always provided great service when have visited and Duane Reade needs to step up their game. Not sure if the same training was given to Duane Reade but there service in this particular store was horrendous.

Worst Duane Reade experience EVER!!!!!!The lady with the hijab at the counter has no expression on her face and so rude to costumers. I ordered my same day pick up photo, 4x4, and she printed it on a 4x6 paper which doesn’t make any sense. And she won’t let me borrow a scissor to cut it either. I have to use that photo immediately. But she told me to go home and cut it myself 🙄which means I have to travel home to fix her mistake?????

Worst Customer service ever! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! The pharmacists are rude and disrespectful like who hired these people. They need to be retrain about customer service. Don’t waste your time to come here. Go somewhere unless you want lousy customer service.

Lovely store this for getting your few odds and ends for medicinal and other needs Large variety of vitamins and minerals available A reasonable size pharmacy at the back with friendly staff. There is also crisps , nuts and other sweet nibbles available Shampoos to an assortment of travel size containers and toothpaste etc Some fresh fruit etc. it’s now actually a Walgreens!!!!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ordered a 16x20inch photo online to pick up as a gift. I got an email saying my order was ready so I went the next morning. I got there and there was a big line at the register, but I went to the photo counter. I waited while they helped the entire line, and then some. No one said anything. Eventually someone came over and handed me a picture that barely had color in it - and when I say no color - I mean the dress that should have been maroon was green!!! So the lady who gave it to me said the person in photo is on vacation and couldn’t help. So she got the manager. He came over, and didn’t even acknowledge me standing at the counter, although I was the reason he was called to the front. So I said hello and told him what was wrong. He said the color must be low, but didn’t say how he would help. Never apologized. All he said was that I would have to replace my order online, but had no idea what the issue was or if it would happen again. So frustrating. They were all rude. Not one person apologized. “I’m sorry” goes a long way..... 30 min later walked out aggravated with no picture, never going back. The store on 42nd and Lex is so much nicer and they are al so friendly- go there!

Garbage service from a poor excuse of a drug store. Needed to print photos for my kids school project, so sent them to the store to print online. Hours later I showed up to get them but they were not printed and somehow no one there was qualified to hit the print button. They told me to come back at 11:15 pm to get it. Then when I showed up late in the evening I had to sit and wait until after midnight to get the pictures.
