Crazy how many great items this Walgreens has. And they have a couple of levels. Due to various shut downs randomly happening, it’s good to know that Walgreens might be a place to grab lunch. Frozen meals. Protein bars. Organic options. And beer!

Came here on 27th around 8-9pm with a friend and asked if they had a public restroom available. Cashier (dark skinned tall young man) tried to get me to pay $100 dollars to use the bathroom to which I thought he was joking. I told him I don’t have cash assuming he was joking and then he asked me to use the ATM to pay him. At this point I asked if he was serious and he said “this is New York you gotta pay for the bathroom” in a serious tone even though I’ve been here several times and I know that’s not the case. I don’t think it’s appropriate for employees extort their customers for money to use the bathroom. He could have just said that there was no public restrooms for use by customers. If this is the type of people this store is employing I suggest they review their employee behaviors since this is unacceptable and I don’t know how many more people fell for this scam but please do not pay the employees any sum of money to use the restrooms.

I was there back in September. The two ladies were super nice and patient with me while I was being an idiot tourist customer. I'm so sorry and I still cringe over my ignorance. I will pay attention to can sizes from now on.

NOBODY knows how to do their job in here. Ordered 3 physical photos for same day pickup - Went around 8 pm and nobody knew where or what is my order. 20 minutes later, told me apparently the photo girl didn't know how to print or do her joband just left for the day. Told me to come the next day. Here I am, walking to Walgreens the second time for no reason at all and guess what? NOBODY knew where and what is my order AGAIN. Cashier immediately called assistance. One asked if my photos are physical products, another asked if they were PHARMACY. What baffled me off most was when the cashier asked if I was at the right location. You bet I am I was here yesterday! After waiting another 15 minutes of waiting , they magically found it at the cashier cupboards where I guess nobody bothered to check in the first place.

My daughter was not feeling well, and the doctor prescribed me to buy medicine. I am not familiar with the medicine written by him. Thankfully, the pharmacist from this drug store helped me with it. She was very knowledgeable and prompt. I am grateful for the great service. Keep it up!

The guy who rang up my purchase was rude and seemed more interested in talking to his coworkers than dealing with a customer. He did not ask for my rewards card, he did not want to give me a receipt, and he acted insulted because I asked him to put my purchases in a bag. I tried to complete the online survey but Walgreens does not care about your opinion after three days. This is an onerous restriction for people on vacation. Simply getting to the error message was complicated because of the numbers that have to be copied from the receipt and the website does not even automatically advance to the next field.

Workers are extremely rude and strange. I had come out of empire state with my family and was looking for hand lotion but couldn't locate it so I was searching in the corner where it said nail care as I assumed that's where hand care would also be. I was in that corner by myself and a woman showed up with a security guard to ask me what I'm doing in the corner and when I said I'm looking for hand lotion she very rudely said I have to follow her. The security guard accompanied us to the other side of the store and she was rude with me again when I asked if this was all they had. I am the least intimidating person ever and I'm really petite. I don't think I needed two people especially a 200+ lb woman and a security guard to escort me to the other side of the store. I felt like I had done something wrong just by being a person of color and looking lost. I will not be coming back and will let my friends and family know about the lack of politeness among Walgreens workers. I'm really disappointed that this could happen in such a diverse area. That too right after the Starbucks and LA fitness incidents. I would expect companies to give their workers racial sensitivity training and teach workers that not all people of color are there to steal.
