Love this store. But beware, not everything is a bargain. If you are willing to search through the clothes and the piles of linens, etc. you will find extraordinary bargains. Best to shop here often so you can be there when they unload the good stuff. I’m never disappointed.

Great discount department store! Great and quality products at discount prices! I remember there were a couple other El Mundos; one on Broadway between 146th and 147th streets; and the other on Broadway, somewhere around 159th or 160dth street. I think there was another one somewhere in the Bronx, or out in Queens. Anyway, they're all gone. So this, on Broadway between 133rd and 134th streets, is the only surviving El Mundo. And I go there every chance I get to buy from them. Please show your support for El Mundo. We need the mom and pops businesses, more than ever now!

Great discount department store! Great and quality products at discount prices! Last year, I was able to shop🛍️ for a few items. To my surprise, 😲they had jeans👖 that fit me, and I will come back to purchase a few more. I also, purchased some eating utensils forks & spoons🍴🥄, and some cleaning solutions. I had a cashier that was polite 🙂, and service was good🏆. I will happily be back. Very positive experience.

This is the spot to get nice clothing and shoes for very low prices. They really have provided me with some gems.The african guy working the register is nice and greets everyone. They have every essential thing you need for the home as well. I consider this spot a treasure to the neighborhood.

It's one of those places where you find surprise bargains on interesting things. It's a large open space with a huge variety of stuff from tables and mixed furniture to pots and pans, curtains and sheets, clothing and shoes and Christmas lights. Hard finding sales staff though :-)

Been open for decades, you can still get a good bargain here, but a lot of items that were sold here in the past was no longer available. You also must be familiar with the brands in inventory, there are some things you might be able to find a little cheaper ( just a little cheaper).

When I arrived this city, I found good shirts from Macys in here and 5 years after I got kitchen stuffs for my mom. It is a little complete store where you find almost everything. El Mundo is a world in merchandise because I found a nice handtruck 2 years ago to carry my amplifiers from another store where I boght them to my home. It's a pretty great place.
