Tried returning a shirt that I purchased with tag intact and was told it was past the time limit for returns. Wouldn't even be offered store credit, despite the shirt having a stain. I didn't have time to return it until now. Terrible customer service. Won't be shopping there again.

So I went to the NYC store bc I thought it would be a bigger store with more selection. But I might as well have gone to H&M. This location didn't even have REGULAR BUTTON DOWN SHIRTS. All they had was this huge oversized button down robe looking thing. I'm completely disappointed at this location. They have this huge space and yet they barely have clothes. Huge spaces in between each clothing rack to make it seems full. It's sad, I was only looking for an old school regular button down shirt

The line was long and 1 short-wavy hair lady was checking out, and one young guy was packing orders. The cashier is messy, and the cashier is VERY SLOW and RUDE. Can they just scan the barcode that I showed?! as the email explained. Why do I have to spell my name? This location needs more staff. The doorman was nice and kind. Bad customer service.

I was in a rush to catch a bus and desperately needed something and was able to order curbside pickup while in transit and be in an out in about 60 seconds. What a great, efficient store with attentive staff. Looked super clean too.

Had a gift card for online returns. Visited three gap stores and found nothing I liked. This seems like the flag ship store. Great selection of clearance in a variety of sizes. This is a big store with two floors near Grand Central.

Gap is Gap, of course. Always ok, never special or extravagant. If you don’t like the style, you won’t like this place. However, if you’re shopping for basics or quite like Gap, this is where you want to shop. The store is less crowded than your average Gap store, it is clean, easy to navigate and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Happily recommended!

The employees here are always very helpful. I usually only go to return something I've ordered online (I hate in-person clothing shopping, though this store is always organized). They open at 8, which is so convenient because I can get this done before work.
