The delivery service is terrible. I was waiting for an important package on Friday sept 10th and was sent a "no access to delivery location" message and that the package would be delivered the next business day. My mailbox is right off the street, nothing blocking it. I have had this problem in the past so I installed 2 cameras pointing at the mailbox. Guess what, I don't see any attempt or anything blocking my mailbox?? what am I missing here. I'm starting to think these are used as excuses when they are behind schedule or something. The service at the post office is great, it's just the delivery??

The worst postal office I’ve come across. NYC has more volume and a better handle on things, there should be no reason why a small postal office has so many issues and why they don’t take accountability for their mistakes. I just don’t understand how a business can be open yet they’re “unable to deliver”. The driveway to the house out back is easily accessible and the business is opened 6 days out of the week except Monday. Paid extra $$$ for Saturday delivery to not have my package delivered on SATURDAY! UNEXCEPTIONABLE! This isn’t a one time problem either, it’s nearly everyday!

You have any delivery issues with cold spring and garrison mail delivery and they always happy to help always relying on them when I have an issues with my carrier.

I moved into the Village of Cold Spring about 6 months ago and my mail and packages arrive at the Garrison Post Office only to get shipped back to the sender. Nobody at the PO seems to be able to answer why this keeps happening. Having read multiple reviews of this happening I filed a complaint with the USPS. The incompetence of this branch is completely inexcusable.

Missing mail for 10 days now because the local carrier abuse the rule of mail box accessibility. I cleaned for 4 hours snow and ice so the mail boxes be reachable, and Coleen said that she also needed to be able to pull off without backing. Just saw in NJ mailman delivered mail in broken from the plow boxes. I guess we are out of luck ...

I moved to garrison about a year ago and all jokes aside EVERY ONE of the packages that this post office is suppose to deliver to me has either gotten stolen, gone missing or they deliver it to the wrong house which I don't understand since I hung up a huge sign right in front of my house saying my house number and last name. You can't miss it. Regardless I'm a very understanding person and I always try to be super sweet and work with them but then the people are so rude to me as if I'm wasting their time. I can't.

Absolute worst people in this small town to deal with. They take their job as a joke. Which it is not, this is a federally endorsed business and the should act like they have some respect for me and others. The complain and sigh and roll their eyes or give attitude upon a request that they should be able to handle with some kindness about it
