I urge you to stay as far away from this shop as possible. They did some bodywork and paint on my vehicle and it looks like it was the first time they worked on a vehicle. Their bondo work was never properly sanded and shows multiple pin holes. They painted right over dust in multiple places. Theres even a hair stuck in the clear coat. The level of quality this shop holds is atrocious. Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Be very careful of this shop. After months of hassle and going back and forth, I am currently left with a vehicle in worse condition than when it was originally dropped off with them. I took my truck to this collision shop after it was reccomended by insurance that I use one of their network shops for a smooth process. The first time around, I picked my truck up and there were electrical features of the vehicle that were not working as well as problems with the quality of the body work that was done. I made the mistake of taking my truck back to this same shop to fix. After not being able to diagnose the issue it was taken to a dealer where they found broken wires directly behind the area the most extensive work was done to repair the vehicle. Although there are obvious signs of a wire being stretched and snapping in the middle, they will not repair this! I am being told this wire corroded through the insulation when there are obvious signs of the wire being stretched and snapping first, then corrosion coming as a result of sitting for so long. No one wants to take accountability for this and it is currently all on me to repair damages done by this shop. This is something that happend in February, and it is now July and the problem still has not been resolved. Service: Body & Trim

To be honest I had a horrible experience with Gerber in early 2022. The owner, Mike, reached out and really listened to my concerns. I didn't have to express my dissatisfaction more than once. He was really professional and apologized. Took it as an opportunity for his company to grow. They fixed everything above and beyond my approval! And the customer care was great! Plan on using their business in the future, even with a 50 min drive! Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Auto glass repair

Helping a relative out by picking them up and and dropping off what was supposed to be simple switch of auto body part. Estimator said couple of hours but plan on leaving car all day. Dropped car off at 9am on scheduled appt day and first was told they were a couple days early but relative showed reception the appt card for today. No updates rec'd so after 6hrs called for status and was told car wouldn't be ready till next day! With only the one car and needing for work, relative told Gerber they would just come and pick car up. Gerber said hold and then came back on phone and said car would be ready at 4:30. I dropped relative off at 4:10 and car was all done sitting in lot. So apparently only took maybe an hour for work to be done??? But customer was inconvenienced for 7 plus hours and possibly extra day!

We had an accident 6 months ago. Minor damage to the front bumper. Went with Gerber Collision in Webster because of the generally good reviews on Google and it being close to home. Note how I said the accident was SIX MONTHS AGO, and the repair is STILL NOT DONE! There were lots of red flags along the way that I ignored, that I will share with you now. 1) Initial inspection of damage was great. We offer them the repair job, and they say "Great, we'll get in touch with your insurance, we should have everything ready for repair in a few weeks". One month later, after no response, I call. "That's weird, there must be something wrong with your insurance." Should I call my insurance agent? "No no, we'll call them and take care of it". I call anyway. Insurance says there is no problem, and we should call Gerber together to resolve. "Oh, so sorry Mr. Gardner, we've been set for a while now, we didn't tell you? Everything is good to go". Red Flag #1 2) Waiting on part. Taking a while "Sorry Mr. Gardner. As you know, there's a supply chain issue, so things are delayed". I call the dealer to make sure there's a delay, and there is. That's fine. I wait a month. After no update, I call back. "Sorry Mr. Gardner, we tried to get in touch with you three times, and after no response we sent it back". Three times? I confirm the phone number with Gerber, it's correct. I check my call log and voicemail, nothing. You don't bother leaving a voicemail? Red Flag #2 3) Waiting on part again. "You don't have to call every week Mr. Gardner, we'll call you when the part is ready." Fine. I mean, last time you sent it back, but fine. I wait until after Christmas. No response. I call back. "Sorry Mr. Gardner, looks like we sent the part back due to inactivity". AGAIN? You got to be kidding me! Red Flag #3, and you're out. I have never, in my life, been jerked around by an establishment as much as Gerber Collision in Webster. It's not even the wait, I can handle that. It's the lying. No joke, I was told at least 9 or 10 times over the past six months that they would "call me back" with an update. Only once, at the end, did they EVER call us back about ANYTHING. EDIT: I just received a call from the manager, who was very apologetic about the whole situation. Sounds like there were some personal issues that caused the last drop around Christmas. While I appreciate it, we've already decided to go elsewhere, but I wanted to mention this since I never expected to get an apology or follow-up. Service: Body & Trim

I really cannot say enough good things about this establishment. Mike B was an absolute joy to deal with. My vehicle had a hefty amount of front end damage, and it took them less than a month to repair it. It looks absolutely amazing. They kept me in the loop, and updated me at least once a week. I’m not sure what type of magic they worked to find ways around the supply chain issues, but they definitely pulled out all the stops to insure that I had my vehicle back quickly. I’m assuming their motto is “little details, big differences”, because WOW. They took the time to go above and beyond my expectations (and to be honest, I have VERY high expectations when it comes to my vehicle). They cleaned the interior, restored my front end to a state that was even better than before my run in with a deer. The techs that performed the work are nothing less than actual artists. Devyn (may have spelled it incorrectly) was another all star. She was pleasant to talk to and helped me switch all of my stuff from the rental back into my vehicle at pick up. Their customer service is unmatched in my opinion. They most certainly won me over, and found themselves a customer for life. Service: Body & Trim

Outstanding job... customer service has been amazing. Bob and Mike are truly keepers for gerber family. There service is unstoppable. I would ask for either of them to get your repairs done. They are quick and knowledgeable to get your vehicle done in no time. They deserve a raise at any costs.

WOW. AMAZING work. I took my car here after reading the glowing reviews, and boy am I glad I did! A driver had t-boned my car and Geico pushed me to use Service King in Henrietta. But when I got my car back from Service King, they'd caused tons of damage. I had to bring it a second time, and SK caused more damage, and didn't even fix all of the damage from the first time. So I took it to Gerber and it came out PERFECT. And they even totally cleaned the interior!! So happy to have my car back and looking great. Service: Body & Trim
