My parents use Publix Pharmacy. In the past the service has been good but my Dad has been to the ER lately and has needed some meds that were called in from ER but not ready and it had been hours.The next week said they did not have a request for meds for a procedure but they did. I don’t know what is going on there but will be moving to another pharmacy. Can’t keep going back and forth and calling them and the doctor 2 to 3 times. I will say that ER called the 24 hour CVS for him and they called us to say the meds were ready before we left parking lot!

Publix atleast this location that Iam personally aware of has been the best pharmacy I’ve used. There profesional and courteous. There prices are also the lowest around. Iam glad they came to Hickory.

I really don't know where to begin, so I'll begin with my most recent experience. I had surgery on a Monday morning, and my prescription (much needed pain medicine) was sent to Publix pharmacy no later than 1pm that day. I went to pick it up at 6:30pm and it still wasnt filled. I was told it would be another 30-45 minutes. I didn't have the energy to be out that long, being I just had surgery 8 hours before, so I went home and dealt with the pain. I Didn't receive a call from the pharmacy notifying me that it was ready until 11:20am Tuesday morning!!! When I got to the pharmacy and notified the young man behind the counter what had occured, he told me "well, we have lots of prescriptions to fill, and sometimes it takes awhile to get some filled” in the snarkiest of tones. I have had a number of other experiences where this pharmacy will take their sweet time filling prescriptions, but it didn't really bother me until I was left on my own without any pain medicine after a serious and painful surgery due to this Publix Pharmacy's incompetence and arrogance.

I’ve had two experiences with this particular location and the dark headed long hair man was extremely rude and unprofessional when I picked up my medicines both times. I will not be back and will pay a higher price at CVS due to these experiences.

COMPLETELY DROPPED THE BALL and RUDE ABOUT THEIR MISTAKE! My RX was sent over at 930am that I NEED tonight. I went to get it at 630pm and they don't have it in stock and won't get it until wed. When I asked why I wasn't notified Britney had the audacity to tell me I was on a list to call because "they didn't get around to it". And when I continued to ask about the process and figure out why all she would repeat was something along the lines of "I'm sorry you're frustrated" with a smirk on her face.

We transfered our prescriptions from another pharmacy and the people at Publix were helpful and very attentive to getting things right. The pharmacy is convenient, hours are great and the service is wonderful.

The pharmacists here were awesome. They were friendly, engaged, and very knowledgeable. I had no idea that Publix offered free medications for some prescriptions. This is such a great service to the community. Pay them back by shopping here as well as filling prescriptions.

Every single staff person at this pharmacy is friendly, respectful, competent, understanding, compassionate & completely helpful. They truly care about each person they serve. It just doesn’t get any better than Mandy, Diane & Tommy who provide exceptional service at all times. Your prescriptions are in good hands at this pharmacy. I highly recommend them over CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid & Walmart.
