We switched to the SECU decades ago because of poor service elsewhere. We started on Hillsborough Street with excellent service, but switched to Centennial for convenience. We consider everyone there to be family with friendly, helpful service.

Out of all the banks to choose from I definitely always come here. Jennifer Cassel is the most outgoing, polite, and outstanding customer service employee I’ve ever had in fact if I happened to come in and she wasn’t there I’d probably go to another bank if it weren’t important lol. Thank you 🙏 so much for your service Jennifer some days I’ve had rough days and not in the best mood but never fails I always leave smiling forgetting about whatever was bothering me that day. Thanks Jennifer your the best!!!😁

I've gone in there a few times and Jennifer Cassel is always the first available teller and always gives me the absolute worst service. She looks at me like I'm a crazy hobo and dont belong in a bank even though I always am dressed nice and very polite. She gives me an attitude just when I'm asking to exchange some small bills for large bills and acts like its the most difficult task in the world to count money. Even though I go to other branchs all the time and they have no problem helping me and being polite. The last time she even rolled her eyes at me and always just starts talking to the teller next to her about what I want to do before even answering me. If she doesnt enjoy being polite and being around people I dont know why you would employ her.

Usually helpful and courteous. I've had a few moments of uncertainty with employees over my service dog, but there usually isn't any problems.

Why does it say it is open until 5:30 today Tuesday the 26th when it is clearly closed and there are no signs stating they would be closed today. Very upset about this!

I'll leave an honest review: This place is hit or miss. Some tellers are really friendly, others are like machines and not personable. When it comes to their services (ie loans) it's also hit or miss. I've had some that make mistakes and others that are dot-i cross-t and also personable. When getting a loan or investing money, I'd say learn and know the ins and outs and don't rely on these loan officers to know their stuff until you find one that does and then stick with that person until they leave. Because they do have turnover here as I rarely seeing the same service officer more than a few years, and the one I've seen there forever has never serviced me, ironically. As a comparison, the one in Holly Springs is friendlier, and the one I used to go on at Blue Ridge in the 90s never made a mistake on a loan. So I imagine whomever is managing this branch needs to wake up and learn from some other branches. Been going here 15 years and had refi's, car loans, education investment, etc, because it's close to work and if they mess up, they do eventually fix it, so all you lose is time. They also have had the crabbiest login people in the world when you go to sign-in. It always feels uncomfortable to sign-in to the waiting room. I mean: AL-WAYS. It's as if they've never had customer service tutoring. So the culture for employees there from top leadership much be lacking in friendliness is my guess.

Lines are never too long and they usually have all tellers open at the desk and window.

Literally the best customer service I've ever received. Had an issue with fraudulent charges and two tellers and a financial adviser spent an hour and a half sorting it out and were genuinely invested in making sure everything was fixed before I left. This is my new go-to branch. I love the people there.
