During my oil change they threw my metal skid plate away on my 2006 beetle. Said bolts were stripped. Just bolted it on with 4 new bolts i had to buy perfectly fine. Didn't change my oil filter because the filter housing was just as dirty as when I drove in. NO evidence anyone touched it.. Only giving 2 stars because they gave me a full refund after an argument. Original owner, great guy would have never allowed this to happen this way. I think the real problem my be in a few employees. Services: Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

This auto service center is amazing. I have used them off and on (mostly to get an inspection), but each time, they are always friendly and priced fairly. What more could you ask for? I will be using them from now on for all my automotive needs. I have utilized multiple mechanics around Statesville and I will have to say that this location has now become my top choice. Finding a good and fair mechanic in this area is like finding hen's teeth. I highly recommend this automotive service center. Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I felt racially profiled. I pull up for gas and was told I could only get 20.00 worth. A white woman pulls up and they come out and whispered to her she could fill up.. I was a customer there, took my car for inspections and oil changes. Referred about 5 people there, new management is horrible!!! I will never patronize Chapmans ever again!!!

6 months ago my mom and I were in NC for vacation. We are from wisconsin, so being 900 miles away from home, my car broke down, my transmission went to hell and we were around the corner from Chapman’s. We towed my car there and everyone there was so kind. Jodie drove us to enterprise, called us many times with updated, found a transmission as cheap as she could. I would highly recommend this place, the people and the service. Service: Transmission

A wonderful old-school auto shop full of friendly people. The mechanics are friendly, professional, and very quick. The interior of the store is full of amazing automotive and local memorabilia. If the blue truck is out front, they're open!
