This place is a joke, what a waste of time and energy. I brought in two large bags of clothes and shoes of all different seasons. Some were brand new and others had some wear, obviously I didn’t expect them to take it all. When I went to pick up my bags I was told they were passing on everything due to seasons and their stock they already have. My items had maybe been flipped through but were all still folded! Seriously do everyone a favor and put a sign on your door if you are overstocked and not excepting items. I will never go back there.

The in store deals are good if there is a sale. I took some pretty nice items in for sale and they don’t seem to offer a good cash equivalent for items with tags and designer bags are OVERVALUED. I think the store will attract more customers if they offer credit vs cash to attract better designer clothes. Also, check out price points at DFW and Fashionphile for designer purses.

The store smells like laundry detergent, rather heavy. I brought high end brands and good items and they purchased nothing from me. They said there were stains on jeans I never wore. I would not sell here. Their variety for purchasing is good, which is why I will give them two stars. I don't plan on returning. Why would they not purchase Dooney and Bourke when they have Faded Glory Walmart dresses on the rack?

When i first went in Style Encore they bought most of my items then i went in a second time and they bought a few items i had, I went there 4 other times and they denied me all 4 times the claim was that my items were outdated or that they do not take pointed shoes only round toe shoes. I took in some nice jewelry they did not want it. So i don't know if its worth my time taking any more items in because i do not know what they want specifically. I am about to give up on them.

I have bought several plus size shirts from them. So I decided to take several items to them to sell. I took 4 shirts, 2 of which I have never worn. And 2 pairs of shoes I have never worn. They would not buy any of my items because they said my items were to dated. Not what they where looking for. I feel like because of my age they didn't want my items. It was not what the younger girls would want. Not everyone is in their 20s that shop there. 2 of the shirts were new that I bought within the last 2 months. I have seen items for sale there that looked like they belonged at goodwill. I will never shop there again.

I have visited this shop on three different occasions and each time had a very pleasant experience. The first visit was before they were open. They were only buying gently used items. I cleaned out my closet and made around 60$ on clothes I otherwise would have given to goodwill. The second time I visited was looking for a specific skirt for my daughter. I found it and was on my way. I found it to be reasonably priced and in perfect condition. I spent around 13$ and was treated as if I'd spent 1300$! I returned the following week with a few baskets of clothing to sell. They only took 2 items for around 7$, yet I was treated professionally and was also told that maybe my items would be more acceptable for Platos. This didn't bother me as I understand that the consignment shop probably has to be very selective in order to make money. No need to be offended that they didn't take clothes that I didn't even want. The shop was very clean and organized. Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. I think it was Doug who was working on my last two visits. He was great as far as I was concerned. He even remembered me on my next visit and was joking with me about my daughter stealing my clothes. I can't wait for my next visit and will continue to tell my friends about the awesome new consignment store in centerville.

As others have said, they seem to be very selective in what they purchase. I brought in a large selection of items to sell and they only took a small handful despite many items being practically new and high quality brands. Anyway, my main takeaway from this place is that their clothing is laughably overpriced. These are USED clothes and should be priced accordingly. The store was clean and well organized though.

I have been shopping with Style Encore since their opening, today I decided to take 2 large boxes of plus size clothing to see if they were interested in purchasing. Most of the items were Torrid, Dress Barn, Avenue, MK etc and very gently worn, if it all. 5 pieces still had the tags attached and were purchased within the last year, I also brought in a pair of MK shoes worn once and authentic (not interested) The store today was very low on plus size clothing which is why I was surprised they were only interested in 3 or 4 of my items. It was a huge waste of my time, the reasons they gave me for not wanting to purchase my items were just absurd, which makes me question where they are getting their inventory in the first place? Why they are letting inexperienced teenagers be buyers? The whole experience was just awful. I won’t be returning to ever sell my items or as a buyer, the other reviews are accurate. If I could give less than one star I would.

This was my first experience and I was VERY unimpressed. I expected kind staff with some good shopping and perhaps a place to sell my gently used clothes and designer handbags. This is NOT what I found. I found snooty staff and unimpressive racks of clothes. They also gave poor excuses for why they would not take any of my designer bags or gently used clothes. While on their racks I saw overworn and poor quality. It’s all good. I will take my business elsewhere. That’s a good way to lose business.

I have visited Style Encore Centerville several times since the opening. The best part for me is getting high end brands at such a great price. I love to have nice things ...but like most people try and stay in a certain budget. Until now, I have sacrificed having the nicer brands in order to spend less. Style Encore in Centerville allows me to get high quality, stylish cloths, bags and jewelry at VERY good prices. Also, each and every member of the staff is friendly, helpful, professional. All in all a great shopping experience! I highly recommend!
