This is the worst Kroger around. It is so dirty, understaffed and way over priced towards campus students. Deal often aren’t entered into the system so pay attention to your receipt.

It's pretty bad in just about every way you could imagine. The employees who had been around for awhile seem to have all left recently. The security guards(securitas I believe) are a complete joke and get upset if you bother them. The bike racks literally lift out of the ground and when they get fixed someone breaks them so they can steal more bikes. The lines are unbearably long most times of the day. The parking lot and the west side of the building are filled with some interesting characters. It ain't called "Kroghetto" for nothing.

This Kroger is already not my favorite because it gets easily overcrowded and that's how it stays the majority of the day. However after today it's my least favorite. (Jun, 25 -22-) My keys fell out of my pocket in the store and I went back in to ask if anyone had brought them up. I first went to ask the security guard, and after saying excuse me three times he finally turned around to me. Only to say "I can hear you" while having given no indication that he could while I was saying "excuse me". He was then rude to me while I asked him my question and his only help was to suggest I had left them at the checkout, when in fact I knew I had not. He wasn't wearing a mask yet insisted I back up further away from him also. I was masked and the store was loud. I don't know if he was just having a bad day but I really will avoid coming here in the future because everyone seemed exasperated by me needing help. The front desk did finally help me, and they were very kind but that hardly makes up for this situation.

First time: the cart’s back part was not holding, then when I exited the door of the store, AT THE DOOR, there was a bump that made the back part of the cart, and a bottle of wine that I bought felt down and broke. The store manager told me that it happened outside the store, and did not reimburse me. Again, the bump was at the automatic door. Second time: I went the to buy stuff and the cashier (self service) was not accepting certain products that I intended to buy. I called help and the personnel could not make it work. I went home without some of the products I intended to buy. Third: I scanned all the items, and the cashier machine was not accepting my debit card’s payment. I tried a couple of times, until it simply restarted the process, and ignored all scanned items. It didn’t print any receipt. I asked for help, and was instructed to re-scan all the items. I re-scanned all the items again, and it worked. I went home. A couple of days later I verified that I was double charged at that occasion. It’s been almost three months now and I did not get reimbursed yet. Several emails exchanged, wasted time and money. I REALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND KROGER, ESPECIALLY THIS STORE. Plus, unsafe environment in the area outside the store.

This is by far the absolute most poorly run, ill conceived, horrifically understaffed and understocked grocery store I've ever had the misery to attempt to shop in. The entire store is self checkout, yet 80% of the checkouts are not on,they usually have anywhere from one to three people running them when they're running 'full bore' which is at absolute best around 40 % One of the workers at the deli appears to be on heavy medication and should probably not be anywhere near a slicer, I'm actually concerned about her safety. It took my boyfriend over twenty minutes to get two half pounds of deli meat. The final straw was yesterday when I ran in after work to grab a couple things and there was about three aisles open with lines of customerswith full carts almost reaching the meat department. I pushedmy small basket aside and rode to the brewery district store where they were magically fully staffed, registers running, even a few actual cashiers, not to mention a pretty well stocked store! Get it together Short North Kroger, its disgusting and I'm going to make a formal complaint! That store is only for desperate measures at this point.

This Kroger is infuriating. Things are always out of stock. But most annoying is the checkout. It is all self check out. No cashiers. No baggers. If you are getting more than a few items, you end up in a lane with a conveyor belt that sends all your stuff to get smashed at the bottom and then you have to go bag all of your own items when you are done. It takes about three times as long and just feels lazy on the part of Kroger.

I HATE this kroger the most. Workers are lazy. Often stinks inside. Removed lots of goods we used to consume. Carts are often missing. Always dirty outside and inside. Customer service only open 4-9pm. Automated registers dont work well. IF YOU MAKE US CHECK OUT AND WE MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE CHECK OUT SYSTEM THEN PAY US FOR THE TIME WE WASTE CHECKING OUT or Give us free food as compensation. If you are poor and cant afford things just shut this place down and move elsewhere instead creating so many inconveniences for the customers. Get better management and fire the non-productive employees. Its the closest grocery store and the most inconvenient. Have to drive to other locations just to avoid the headaches. Hate being a karen and hate karens. But yall brought it out. Karen out.

This store has to be the most racist store towards white people I've ever seen! I'm standing there waiting for help even said out loud can someone help me. After I finally got help. A black man came in behind me. They all jump and started helping him. The bags were empty and I was told to go get my own bags. It was totally unexceptable . Shameful just Shameful.

I really like the value convenience and selection of produce and healthy food items at this Kroger. The employees are all very pleasant and helpful. Especially the folks at the prepared foods deli section in the cheese section particularly. I do not like the trash filled parking lot and there is insufficient parking on busy shopping days. But, this is a first world problem LOL
