I've came here a few times. Generally, the experience has been decent, I've even become friendly with one of the staff members who runs the register. Recently, there looks to have been a new hire there who is insufferable. Each time I have attempted to make small talk or even just purchase my items, she has an attitude that makes me feel as though I'm a bother, and never does she smile or engage in any conversation. All in all, she leaves me feeling as though I should have chosen somewhere else to shop - and that's what I'll likely be doing looking forward.

Came into this store at 2 am and there were 2 cashiers. Both cashiers helping customers I was next in line. The male cashier went out to kindly help a lady with her car. The lady cashier was dealing with a customers card being declined over and over again. I asked the cashier after waiting about 5 min if she could ring me up real quick since I had cash and a quick transaction while her other customer figured out what was going on with her card. The cashier rolled her eyes at me and didn’t even ask me what I wanted she carded me for my cigarettes and took my money. Didn’t apologize for the wait or even thank me for coming in. I wasn’t rude and even thanked her for helping me. People like her don’t make me want to spend my money there anymore.

I have always been treated with respect here and I respect them as well. They put up with a lot of people who are not respectful. I've been coming here for years now and I never knew anyone who worked there to be anything but nice to me and my family.

Worst experience in a long time. This evening my husband entered the store (7:18pm) and while I waited in the car I realized the guy at the counter has mask pulled all the way down covering his chin. When my husband got back into the truck i asked him if then that was helping him had his masked pulled down or was I just seeing things. He said " Yeah, he just told me that he tells every customer that Plaid pantry doesn't care if we wear masks and if they do they never tell me" I am sure this company knows the rules about masks and why we have to wear them. Honestly I will never come back here especially with having employees act the way that man did.

The older gentleman clerk is a real A××HOLE.. Dirty counters around the coffee station and it's always out of creamer. Compared to other plaid Pantry's this one is me least favorite..

Unpresedented disrespectful treatment. Was accused of stealing for sipping the foam off of my fountain soda. (Had two coffee creamers to pretend it was a float, therefore foaming a good amount) I was referred to as "people like you"! have had worse and worse treatment as time passes. Will drive to jantzen beach from now on as the management has done nothing over past twelve months to rectify or even acknowledge this despairity.

-5 stars. I have officially boycotted this Plaid Pantry due to lack of respectful customer service. I inquired about turning in bottles and the store manager stated that it's the law to have to show receipts for all the bottles that I was about to return. I asked about the law and what it stated and they showed me a piece of paper laminated that was printed out by the management. Not and ordinance from the law. I looked at the ordinance from the state of Portland Oregon about the bottle drop ordinance and its stated completely that they must take the bottles anytime thale store is open they must take the bottles unless they refuse service. It does not state anywhere in the law that I must show a recipt stating I bought them from OR. . It is not a law to have to show them the receipt so now because they made up a lie I'm going to report them to the state and I would like to take further actions on this.

This Plaid Pantry has a gas station! Great customer service killer prices on candy and beer. Cigarette prices are good too. Wonderful stop for travelers
