The gun counter is the most unprofessional group of people I have ever met. They will help you purchase a gun with attitude and after the purchase you are no longer important. I have 3 guns awaiting a background check approval. Was told to call in a week or two to check status as often they get busy and do not call the customers back to let them know of the approval. Tried calling today and was told the gun counter is no longer excepting calls because of too much foot traffic. Falls back to you are not important after purchase. So I guess I drive an hour one way to check status. Congratulations Cabela’s you are losing customers consistently.

Very confusing inside. I went in for thermal underwear. The thermal underwear is not all together. There are some over here, there's some across the building, there's some in the corner. I'm looking for gloves. There's some over here, there's some over there, there's some in the opposite corner of the building. Can't you put everything together? Like all the gloves together. All the thermal underwear together. And then you ask the employees where stuff is and they don't even know. An exercise in frustration.

Hey, it's a Cabela's. It has lots of cool outdoor stuff. This particular store isn't as grandiose as others in the country, but it checks off most of the boxes. They may not be the cheapest store around, but if you need some outdoor recreational supplies, there's a good chance they will have what fits the bill. The staff I dealt with were all very friendly and helpful.

Went to return a pair of boots after being told I could return them due to them leaking. Drove an hour there and was turned away by customer service. Even though the website of those boots said to return them back to the retailer. The lady was not pleasant to work with and it happened on September 20th at 11:30am.

Keep track of the price of things that you are buying at the register. I was going to purchase some ammo that was behind the gun counter. It had no price so I had an associate look it up for me he told me it was $89.99. When I went to the front register to check out the product rang up as $119.99. I told the associate that was wrong the person in the gun department checked the price and it was $89.99. He then had another associate who had a big attitude right off the bat go and check. She came back and told me I was misinformed on the price and that I had to pay full price. I told her that was wrong in so many ways.i did not get the product and went home. Once I got home I looked the product up on the internet through the cabelas website and the price the was $89.99.

Someone named Josh, threw a fit & was very put off that he had to help us. He was huffy puffy, rude & literally slammed down the item in his hand, into the shopping basket he was working out of, to come help us. This happened when I politely asked him a question. I reported him to the Manager. If something is actually done about it, that's great. In this day & age of SO many people becoming harsh & abusive, I find this behavior to be quite sad & totally unnecessary. I just don't understand at all, why anyone would behave this way. Please help this Gentleman to get Anger Management Counseling. I hope this truly will be dealt with, because if I ever acted like that at my job, I would be fired.

Prices not great, occasionally something worth going in for. They take quite a bit longer to process background checks then some of the other local stores (like an hour vs 15 minutes) Changing to one star because I got home and found a red trigger lock on the gun with no way to remove. I eventually was able to drill it out and get it off. Absolutely horrible.

The great outdoors. If you need it they have it. From camping supplies to soft shot guns & rifles (similar to bb guns)). Yes the slingshot is still in use. Imagine. No bullets....

Very unprofessional staff. A while back we were looking at used firearms. Rifle pointed towards the ceiling checking if the sights were good on it. We were interested. We had a person in the department tell us we can’t be point rifles at people(we weren’t) then he proceeded to follow us around the store staring at us. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. In a long line of issues from this store this was the one that made us never want to go back.
