Autumn shampooed cut and styled my hair today. She was friendly and professional. The shampoo was so nice I got an unexpected scalp massage tha was amazing! It's hit or miss with these guys. Sometimes you get a really good stylist that does wonders for your hair and sometimes you get someone who is more interested in pushing hair products.

I have been to this salon multiple times and only have good things to say! Lynette the manager, takes her time and always gives the best quality hair cuts. I have had the other stylist there as well and am extremely pleased with the results I received. If you want a hair cut for a good price and good customer service I highly recommend.. I am also a former cosmetologist and I am very pleased and impressed by the staff

I highly recommend having your hair cut, colored, highlighted or styled at this salon. The manager, Lynnette is an excellent hair stylist with many years of experience, especially with coloring and highlighting. Her and her staff are gentle and considerate of each patron that walks in the door. I have had my hair cut, colored and highlighted by Lynnette, the manager. She is always, courteous, kind and professional. I would recommend her and this salon to anyone.

My experience at Smart Styles was great! It is very convenient being in walmart; as soon as you walk in you can feel how warm and kind the energy is. All of the stylists are very sweet and very professional and knowledgeable. Lynette and the other stylists all do a wonderful job and I would highly recommend this salon!

Was asked to wait 10 mins to give the stylist a break because they were just all morning. So I went shopping and came back in 10 mins. When I came back they were talking to a woman about how to do her hair. When they were done talking they took the lady back and told me to have a seat and wait another 10 mins. I was very upset because they put my name on the list as being next then they took the lady back before me. I have used this salon many times before and I will never use it again. I only gave one star because there was no option to give a review without at least giving one star.

I went to the Smart Style salon for a hair cut. After the manager Lynnette finished I realized that she had left a bald spot in the front of the hair. I kindly asked her to fix it and rather than cutting the rest of my hair to match she gave me a matching bald spot on the other side. When I told her it was now worse she grabbed my neck and slammed it to my chest and started to jerk it around loudly telling me it was due to a cowlick and it looks even to her. I told her I had just had a nerve ablation procedure on my neck and to be gentle. I also asked if she could cut the whole head with a #2 clipper so it would be even she refused and ripped the gown off of me squeezing and jerking my neck in the process I told her if she was unwilling to fix it I wanted a refund. She told me to call customer care and get the hell out of there. I told her I was not leaving until I had the number she pushed me away from the sign with the number and hid the number from me. She then told me she was calling the police. I went to ask customer service for a phone and called the police myself. unfortunately the police were of no help and believed the word of her inferior ranking employee over the words of me the victim and my girlfriend as our credibility is somehow of less value. I am awaiting a response from corporate but wanted to warn the public in the mean time. If you don't want you or your family to get a whiplash injury from their haircut or them to be left with bald spots and no recourse I would strongly recommend not visiting the smartstyle in edinboro and especially not having Lynnette as your stylist. Smartstyle does not have cameras in their facility so as to protect their corporate interests. smart style does not even allow the Walmart cameras to face into their store. Why? because they don't want to be sued when loose cannon Lynnette or another stylist assaults her patrons. the cost of a hair cut is much greater than 12.95 when you factor in the abuse you must endure to attain such "value." I truly hope corporate hears my story and ends Lynnettes employment, but I truly doubt it. A hair salon is no place for violence and if you agree with that statement then I urge you to Boycott the smart style in edinboro, pa. #BoycottBoroSmartStyle
