We want your special occasion shopping experience to be just that – an experience. Our seasoned staff requires an appointment for bridal gown and ballgown shopping, and would highly recommend one for prom as well. To set an appointment, please call us at either of our locations or fill out our registration form! We also require patrons be over 16 or accompanied by a parent/guardian because our gowns are very delicate and may require assistance to try on. Jovani, Sherri Hill and Top 10 Prom are among the dress lines we carry.

If there’s a way I can rate them zero I will do that, horrible place to get dress, I bought 3dresses for me and my daughter all the dresses needed little alterations she told me they will fix it and never told me they will charge additional money for this . I told her I will come the following day this rude lady force me to pay ahead because she knew what she wanted to do. On getting there the following day she charged me additional money and I said I don’t have any money left. If that should be the case let me change my wedding dress to another type she refused and said I can’t change it. I paid a thousand plus and I don’t got home with the dress but she refused to change it for me. I know the reason she does that because she sold used wedding dress for me. Horrible place to get dress.

In the past week, we have visited 11 different stores/boutiques in Pennsylvania and New Jersey including a castle style location in Jersey looking for the perfect prom dress for our daughter. None have come even close to Formals XO in both available selections, style and staff. Many other locations didn’t even have the size we were looking for which was a size 0. This location actually had name brand styles and a large selection to choose from in the size and style we were searching. It was the first time my daughter actually had several choices of dresses she liked which was great. Pricing for the dresses we were looking started at $450 up to $650 - and that’s without the alterations. The good news is the dress actually represents the price in style and in quality. We initially visited the King of Prussia mall and found the dress which was then brought to this location which is closer to our home to get it altered. My oldest daughter is 27 but looks young which she understands being question about her age. She asked if my youngest daughter could try on a dress, keep in mind that all the dressing rooms were empty and barely anyone in the store. They were told no because they needed an appointment and also need a parent or guardian. While just hearing them tell a mother and daughter they can get them in without an appointment. My daughter proceeded to go up to the front and make an appointment. After waiting a few minutes someone finally came to the register, and then proceeded to answer the phone. Once she was finally off the phone my daughter asked to make an appointment for next weekend. She asked for the availability and the woman reminded her again that someone 21 or over has to be present and was very rude about making the appointment. If you need an appointment to try on dresses, then you should make it known with a sign. There is also a sign on the register stating you don't need an appointment to try on dresses just a parent or guardian 21 and over.
