Bill and Jeff are so amazing, they assisted me with all of my concerns regarding my AC. They coordinated a technician with the specific Freon needed for my Honda 2017 civic. I highly recommend this location vs the west Chester location.

Best Pep Boys location we have experienced. Employee Bill was great. He was awesome at communicating. We were expecting to need several things on our Chrysler 300 since it had 83k miles and ongoing tire pressure issues. We dropped our car off for inspection and oil change after ours. They called first thing in the morning and had all the work done by mid day (oil change, alignment, new tires, brakes and rotars.) Husband felt all these were warranted maintenance. Based on what the dealership charged us for inspection and something very minor last year, I think we got off cheaper here than the dealership. We've used them in the past also and have always had a good experience at this location.

Had quite the disappointing experience here. We made an appt. to take our car in due to the heat not working. My husband arrives for the appointment and they proceed to inform him that he has to drop it off since they have other cars in front of him and only one mechanic. Ok non-issue, but if you know you're behind, you can't inform us of this prior to the appt. so he could arrange alternate transportation? So we pick it up the following day and the guy hands my husband nearly a $600 bill and basically tells him that they replaced a couple things and it'll now blow ''lukewarm'' air out because in order to actually "fix it'' they'll have to take the front of the car apart. Great, so not only are we left with paying nearly a $600 bill for nothing, but we're also left with a car having the same issue as it had when we brought it in... still blowing cold air (nowhere near lukewarm as they claimed). We would've respected the fact that they couldn't do it and suggest we take it to a dealership. But instead they tinker around with it and fix nothing for a hefty bill. So we're back exactly where we started, except now we have to spend more time and more money by taking it to a professional who can actually solve the problem. We've learned our lesson.

My very first visit to this franchise and it is pathetic. I just went to have my car's safety and emission inspection. My car was in very excellent condition and they just try to make some money out of this inspection. They damaged my gas cap and replaced it without informing me and added a 25$ charge. And reported brake lamp malfunction which would costs around $450 bucks which was working perfectly fine before leaving my car with them. They just want to make some money out of a customer visit and they don't care to listen to the customer. I'm completely disappointed..😔👎

Scheduled a state inspection for 8:30AM. Car was still not even seen by the tech as of 2PM. No one communicated that the 75 min estimated service time shown online was not even remotely accurate and I had to call in 2 times to figure out when my car would "maybe" be ready for pick up. A state inspection that had me without a vehicle for an entire day maybe even 2 if the car needed anything is pretty awful. It put my wife and my two children in quite a predicament since the car had our kids car seats in it still. Did not think it would take the whole day, past the time we needed it to pick up the kids from care. I would not recommend taking your car here unless you have specific answers on how long basic services will take.

I believe Manny, Mo and Jack have moved on and the place is now run by Larry, Mo and Curly. I had new tires put on my Truck. Took longer than expected to install, but okay. I drove off and discover, as soon as hit 45 MPH, my Truck begins shaking. I knew right away, they didn’t balance my tires. So, I went back the following day. They told me I’d have to come back, they were too busy to fix it. Even though they seemed to be all standing around doing nothing. Okay, so I booked an appointment for the following morning. I came in and said I’d wait for it. They seemed annoyed I wanted to wait, but said okay. I then watched a comedy of issues, beginning with the Computers being “down”. The Manager was on hold with his IT department with the phone on speaker for all to hear. During that time, my truck just sat in the parking with nothing being done to fix my wheel balancing issue. The staff was standing around and complaining about their jobs. Eventually, my truck gets pulled in and one guy starts working on the issue. Everyone else is standing around and socializing. I then watch as customers stop by and get the uncaring treatment I’ve received from the staff. Some even had issues where the work wasn’t completed correctly and had to drop it off to have them look at it again. Finally and hour later, my truck is ready. I drive out of the lot and decide to take it up to the highway to test the balancing at higher speed. I hit 60 MPH and you guessed it... the truck begins to shake and shimmy again. I gave them the chance to fix it and they could’ve cared less. I have no plans to return to Pep Boys ever again. Now I have to pay another tire service to fix the issue for me. My opinion, won’t be long before this place is out of business.

Definitely recommend this place. Nice customer service both Tim and Joe (manager and assistant manager) really friendly and got my car fixed in no time. One of my car tire is having issues took it to shop did a quick check and told there are 2 nails. Fixed it the very next day in minutes. If you want to get the quality of work for what you are paying go to this place. Definitely a 5 star.

I’ve been going here since moving from Cleveland and shame on me for not sharing the love. The staff is helpful and pricing is more than fair. Why review now? A year ago I got a new battery form them and it went the way of the dodo yesterday. Came in and within 20min I had a warranty replacement. No muss and no arguments, no well you didn’t come in weekly to get things maintained. Just here is the new battery and sorry for the trouble. Look things happen, even good products fail, it’s all how you respond to those events. And these guys did it professionally and had real empathy for the impact it had on me and my day. Made me feel supported as a trusted vendor. You should be checking them out and getting the same level of service if you aren’t getting it elsewhere. A special shout out to Tim for your customer service with me and the other 3 people you dealt with before the store closed for the night.
