This location has two drive-thru ATM's, and one located outside you can walk up to as well. The lines get backed up every day after 4pm. Mostly because people make deposits at the ATM all the time, and vans will pull up to the ATM with 4-6 people inside (all taking turns)...... frequently! The location of this bank is key to it's value as a customer.

Waited over 15 minutes at drive thru. Inside teller refused to come to window Until I blew car horn for simple deposit. Very rude teller told me to read sign. closed. There was no sign for closed. Manager- she is a poor reflection on your management hiring/training skills. I will be reporting this unprofessional incident to regional VP. Based on response, May close both BA AND Merrill Lynch accounts.

I have banked with Bank of America for 15 years and still am amazed at how awful the experience is when I go into the bank. The tellers are have no idea what customer service is. I have gotten many cashiers check from this place over the years and have never had to disclose the payees address or any other personal information but was rudely informed that they can only issue the cashiers check with the payees address (this is so they can farm information to send out useless junk mail to the people they now have information for also it is not required by the FDIC or any regulatory commission for them to issue a cashiers check) . I relayed to the teller that I have never had to do this before and she said they needed it for their back off software. I am not comfortable giving them anyone's address because I don't think it is any of their business. The fact of the matter is that they have my business account and my personal accounts and now I thinking that it is time to look for a new bank to change to. This branch is an absolute joke when it comes to the tellers and management need to take notice. If the 2 1/2 start rating that you have on google isn't evident enough that you have a problem then I don't know what is. 3 visits in the past 2 weeks and every time treated like garbage. That does not breed loyalty. Not the branch for customer service.

Very busy bank in a busy area. Still providing teller and banking services with open ATMs. If you need banking services, you're much better off making an appointment if it's not an emergency. The phones don't seem to be managed well during peak hours. Otherwise well kept bank and friendly staff.

Justin Parker was very welcoming, proficient and friendly. It was his first day on the job, and this process was a breeze with his help! Not only did I feel comfortable going through with this process, but Justin was very well educated and helped me every step of the way. Love this bank and the wonderful customer service I had received today! Definitely deserves 5 stars.

Ignore negative reviews. First time here and I had an excellent experience! Jud took care of my issues today . Thank you . I was greeted by a wonderful hostess of the bank , friendly and informative. The bank tellers all are ready with a smile to help you too. ATM inside and out, drive through. Also greeted out front by an armed security guard , well i greeted him because I say hi to everyone I meet or happen to cross paths with . I just moved down here from Philly and was immediately welcomed just like my favorite bank up North !!

I have been a account holder for over 20 years, but I went into this bank on 07/25/20 and the teller that helped me was extremely rude I’m not exactly sure why both me and my daughter were polite. This teller did not crack a half of a smile at all she was short and rude. I let the branch manager no about it that was there at the time and she seemed to care less. I will be finding another bank!

I have been with this bank for over 20 years. Never have I had assistance here that has been helpful. On June 18th I went in and spoke with Judson Ruhl to assist with managing my accounts and linking them all together as I opened a new one during COVID and was advised on the phone with the rep from BOA that the accounts would eventually link...months later they were NOT linked still...so I had to make an appointment and get this fixed. On July 9th, I emailed as well as called JUDSON RUHL who NEVER responded in any fashion to my questions...as the accounts were still not linked properly even after he advised they were. I called again today September 29th and could not get any assistance on the customer service number and called the bank and asked if he still worked there. Yes he does...well why did I never get a response? Paige the 'relationship banker' stated he was 'out for a few weeks'...well July 9-Sept 29th is how long I've been waiting for someone to respond...I assumed he didn't work here any longer. Go figure. Now I have to go back in for an 'appointment' as the account which was set up for overdraft protection is now dinging me $12 which it never did until Judson made his adjustments to my account and need to find out WHY if the account was set up to automatically withdraw from savings as it has for years...why I am now charged even after it is moving the money. And if this was to change, why did he NOT advise...as he made other adjustments and stated he was 'saving me money'. Not the first time Ive been upset with their bankers at this location. I hate to give this place any stars...as one is too many! UPDATE...I just tried to email JUDSON following up on my issues with him..."inbox is full' LOL. Great service to someone that holds numerous accounts biz and personal with this establishment!

Awful. I started banking with Bank of America twelve years ago in Austin, TX, and they were great. After moving to Bluffton ten years ago, I just could not believe the difference. This branch is atrocious. Long waits, extremely rude employees, and they only have one teller working the drive through window, with lines of cars around the building. If you are not with Bank of America, you cannot use the drive through, and if you cash a check there that someone who does bank there wrote you, they will charge you eight dollars, which is why their lobby is now marble. I left, went to United Community Bank, which is far superior. Avoid Bank of America in Bluffton, it is the most poorly run bank I have ever done business with. The manager is terrible, when you ask to speak with her, she tells the employees to tell you how many people you will have to wait behind to see her, to encourage you to give up and leave. It is an utter nightmare. Please, save yourself the headache, bank anywhere else, because I can’t imagine any bank being worse than Bluffton Bank of America.

Worst service I’ve ever received at a branch. Been a Bank of America customer for 20 plus years and I’ve never complained. This branch is terrible. 30-45 minutes wait minimum. If you complain they go on break and slow it down even more. Never seen less dedicated staff and useless manager. Complained to corporate but no follow up. I so miss Hilton Head branch and staff. I wish there was an alternative. We try to do everything online or wait til we visit the island. That’s how bad it is. We draw straws in my business when we do have to go. Frustrating!
