DO YOUR RESEARCH- AND DO NOT PURCHASE ETHAN ALLEN FURNITURE- THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. We sold our house and furniture in March of 2021. To make things easy, or so we thought, we decided to go to Ethan Allen (as we had many times before) and purchased approximately $25K worth of furniture including a sofa and two chairs covered in a fabric that we believed was performance fabric. I am sorry we decided not to go Haven's Furniture as we had purchased a white sofa from Haven's in Revolution fabric which was amazing and stayed extremely clean the entire time we owned it. We are very clean people and live in a brand new house. When we complained about the fabric that after 2 months (3 of us live in the house and we had no pets) as it appears to attract dirt and looked like it was 10 years old. Kathy White the Ethan Allen Market Design Leader for the Coastal Carolinas said that "since it is a new home, that the dust settling from construction paired with bodily oils probably has caused soiling." So, warning to anyone buying/building a new home, do not purchase white performance fabric from Ethan Allen as the dust settling may ruin your new furniture! What a joke. The attached pictures show the fabric after 2 months of ownership. I would NOT purchase anything from Ethan Allen furniture- do your research and you will hear so many stories like mine (and others much worse). I wish I had!!! Correspondence through the BBB with Ethan Allen: Ms. Joyce, We closely monitor all fabrics for performance issues and track service issues for every fabric in our assortment. The fabric you chose has had no other service alerts and is performing to our rigorous quality standards. As we've discussed, your furniture was delivered in new condition. Ethan Allen is not responsible for any soiling that occurred after delivery or the crushing of the chenille pile as these are the result of normal wear and usage and are not factory defects covered under warranty. Your performance fabric is easy to clean, and if the chenille pile is crushed from use, it can be restored by brushing. You can do this yourself or choose to use the services of a professional upholstery cleaning company. I regret that you are unhappy with your purchase, but Ethan Allen cannot assume the responsibility for maintaining the appearance of your furniture once in the home. Lastly, the "furniture insurance policy" is a joke. Don't waste your money!!!

Buyer please beware! Horrible customer service!!! Since Covid they are absolutely deplorable and highest dishonest. We ordered a $4K indoor /outdoor rug and it came to us defective. Despite contacting and providing pictures, the sales associate , store manager and regional manager would do nothing to rectify the situation. EA even sent their rug person out to inspect and clean it, He verified a severe defect took pictures and said it should be replaced, When the Regional manager received We had 3 witnesses and took our own pictures too. ,We are now pursuing this legally. And it doesn't end there. Prior to moving to SC we've been a long term customer. The designer Jane completely mislead us on a floor plan for a sofa tables and chairs we ordered after she took measurements in a house we were building in SC and at the time we lived in NJ. In good faith we took her advice only to find the floor plan and furniture we ordered did not fit. This was something we expressed concern about and $12K later we've had to live with it. Any other furniture company would have never mislead a customer.

I have been an Ethan Allen customer for many years and am never disappointed at the quality, style and service. My furniture will last for decades and still remains beautiful and stylish. Our son and his wife ended up working with an Ethan Allen designer after shopping around and not finding the quality they wanted. They are pleased with their experiences and said the service and selection was impressive. Recently I've noticed that EA prices are more reasonably priced because the competitors have raised their prices but the quality is simply not comparable.

From start to finish my purchase of the Arcata sofa was the best! Designer Brent at the Greenville store was very helpful. He gave wonderful guidance. The delivery guys were very professional, very polite.

Over the years, Ethan Allen has always been our go to place for furniture. Again , we were not disappointed. Melinda assisted us and made our decision easy. The delivery was seamless. The guys were careful and very respectful of our home and arrived within the window promised. Ethan Allen continues to be our favorite place for furniture and design assistance.

Our designer (Jane) experience was great. There was no push to buy or rush through the design process. Absolutely enjoy my new Harris Chair and ottoman. Looking forward to receiving the rest of our order. We purchased living, dining and bedroom sets. Beautiful pieces of furniture. Delivery service was as advertised- white glove, friendly and efficient.

Ethan Allen and specifically our interior designer Tony Buccafurri were fantastic to work with. Firstly Ethan Allen has excellent and high quality furniture with which to pick from. You can tell from the look and feel that this is impressive furniture that will last you a long time. However we would not have been able to pick out the furniture and most importantly lay it out correctly for our space without the help of Tony. He came out to our house to take measurements, get a feel for the room, and get a feel for our house. After doing that he was able to mock up in easy to understand floor plans what furniture and layout(s) he would recommend. He was able to able to stick exactly within our budget while getting us terrific pieces that fit our aesthetic and desires perfectly. When we had some changes we wanted to make it was never a problem and Tony found perfect substitutions. The turnaround time was quicker than you would normally expect for custom furniture but well worth the wait. Lastly Tony personally accompanied the furniture delivery and even had us wait upstairs so he could get all the furniture placed exactly right and then call us down when it was all finished to give us that "wow" factor of seeing the final setup. All in all I highly recommend both Ethan Allen and Tony!
