This store decided to implement a store credit return policy a couple of weeks ago. I just bought the item a hour ago. The cashier contacts the manager on the phone to be instructed to plug the tree up to see it it works (all of this is being done, while another customer is waiting). The manager then tells her to inform me that the store has a store credit policy. What is the point of testing the tree, just to tell me that you cannot refund me the same method of payment that I originally paid? They offered me a store credit, despite me purchasing the item a hour prior. However, no where is it mentioned on the receipts or anywhere in the store that the store only offers a store credit. The only time that this is discovered, is when you try to return an item. This is terrible customer service. To not inform customers of your return policy, prior to shopping is terrible service.

The store manager Rocks, she works her but off and always maintains a positive attitude while helping me with what I need to find. All the employees are friendly. I love shopping here.

A lot better condition than the local dollar general. If you instacart shop just know a lot of the products are different Oz sizes than the app has so you have to do a lot of changes.

I use to like going into the store but I dread it now when certain people are working. The new store manager is always yelling at the staff and very rude towards them. Aisles are always filled with truck that isn't put up and I always see employees working it and the manager is off doing whatever instead of lending a helping hand. If I could get away with zero stars that's what it would get, before this new manager this store was pristine and always clean. Now it's a mess, really hoping they can get a better store manager in who doesn't downgrade her employees like this one does. When she's working I take my business elsewhere.

This store has really went downhill fast. No sale information on the shelves. Shelves have huge empty areas with nothing on them. Employee turnover is so frequent I hardly see the same cashier twice. I truly want to see the store at least return to the pre-pandemic state of service soon. An improvement above that may be too much to expect from the Family Dollar business.

The store was very clean and very well stocked. But there was a man and the back of the store that came up to me begging me for cash for his family. of course I told him no! that I didn't have any cash. He then told me I should get cash back on my debit card for him. I told him no and that my husband was outside in the car and he needed to leave me alone. When I checked out I did tell the cashier what happened and he acted like it was nothing new. He says the man comes in there all the time asking for cash and buys beer with it. That is not OK. Then when I went outside to my car the man approached me again and asked me why I lied to him about my husband being in the car. I told him I have a gun under the seat and I will shoot him if he does not leave me alone. He then told me I was a racist and some few other choice words and walked off. Don't get me wrong, this store is great and I shop there all the time period but I do recommend something be done about these people panhandling. It was a very serious And scary situation and unfortunately I probably will not go back to that store because of it.

Went to go get some Christmas lights ( which I already knew were out because I was here just a few days ago ) and ready to drop some money , right when you walk in there was shipment everywhere we walk down open aisle had no block off and a man who appeared to be a manger asked us to not shop the area because it is not priced and because he was putting shipment out . I have worked retail for years and just because you have truck doesn’t mean you stop allowing customers to shop. The store was a mess and did not at all look clean shipment should never all be pushed on the floor it’s makes it hard for paying customers to shop what they need. Also making customers feel unwelcomed by the manger himself maybe work on you’re customer service . Thanks a paying customer.

I had an item that I needed to bring back to the store and I did not have my original receipt so I was expecting to only gift store credit or just be able to do an exchange for another product in the store, but the manager on duty was nice enough to actually give me cash for the product that I returned. Their prices are relatively low and pretty comparable with Walmart and they have a pretty good selection of merchandise. And their cashier and staff are very courteous and friendly. It is a nice place to shop.
