Why do you guys keep denying me my birth control prescription?

The morbidly obese cashier named Rafael shouldn’t be operating the cash register. He’s not nice. Not polite. He picks and chooses who to greet when they come into the store. Picks and chooses who to stand up for (every time I come into the store he’s sitting on a stool) he didn’t ask me all of the “general questions” that’s supposed to be asked by a cashier. But let a white person approach him and he’s all ears smiles and full of questions. And each and every time that he checks me out I have to come back to the store for a print out of my receipt because once again he fails to ask any questions or acknowledge the fact that I’ve signed up for digital communication. Poor customer service.

If I could give one star I would. Unless you want to wait in line for 40+ minutes DO NOT get a Covid-19 vaccine here or any Walgreens in the area. They have 6 people behind the counter doing nothing!

I wish I could give ZERO stars right now. I got a prescription filled with no notification for when it would be ready. After calling about it, after the time it was supposed to be ready, I was told it was ready for pick up. I then drive down there to find out they closed 10 minutes early, knowing I was on the way and needing this. Then, the worker says "it's close enough to closing time and you should've gotten here earlier." This has been the worst prescription experience I've ever had and they need to do better.

Unprofessional af. Edit: This is a review for the Pharmacy at this location, not reflection on the general store staff. Almost everytime I have used this pharmacy in the past 6 months, I’ve been met with either a bad attitude and reluctance to fill my prescription OR just flat out inappropriate (personal) questions from the staff. Half the time I can’t pick up my prescription even when I’ve been sent several notifications that it’s ready and the very first time I picked up, I was actually discouraged about injecting my meds by myself by the pharmacy tech. I’ve been asked if I’m a boy or a girl. I’ve been told I can’t pick up because my insurance won’t allow it, despite never having linked any insurance because I don’t have any. Lol. This is probably because of the nature of my script. Irregardless, I should be treated with same care and discretion as any other customer. Aside from that, they were terrible about masking way before the mask mandate changed and that just rubbed me the wrong way given that they are working with the most at risk population. Noses exposed, signs everywhere making customers mask while the staff would haphazardly hide themselves behind shelves with mask off, in the middle of serving customers for snack breaks. I finally switched to the Kroger across the street and it’s cheaper and the staff is delightful everytime I pick up from them. Highly recommend it for people looking for a better experience, but the same general vacinity.

Called this pharmacy after my regular pharmacy didn't have the med I needed. Asked how to transfer my prescription they lady at the pharmacy said I needed to call them and have them send it. I called the original pharmacy and they proceeded to tell me that to send it outside their stores they needed the request to come from the pharmacy. Okay mild mistake but called back talked to a gentleman who then proceeded to refuse to fill it because there is another Walgreens closer to the original pharmacy the script was sent to. When I call a location I either have a reason for calling it or I would like to be offered, not required, to fill my scripts elsewhere for such an arbitrary reason.

This Walgreens is sufficiently stocked and the employees are a mixed bag of friendly and solemnly efficient. The store is not clean. The floors are badly swept and mopped.

I called to inquire about a magazine product about 40 minutes till’ closing time on Sunday night. After a few minutes on the automated answering service a man finally answered he phone. I asked my question, he placed me on hold, about a minute later was hunted up on with no explanation. I was still waiting on the information. I called again and waited about a few more minutes and went through the automated answering again and the same man answers, didn’t even apologize for the Hangup! Anyway the point is that this Walgreens seems to either have inexperienced customer personnel or they just don’t care to assist a potential customer. By the reviews on their page I can understand why they are rated very poorly. Bad business and customer care. I’ll take my business to Kroger across the street. I would recommend Walgreens management fully train their staff and coach them on professionalism and better customer care.
