This was my first time renting a car from SIXT. The overall experience was outstanding and the staff ( Jocelyne) at the West Hollywood branch made the entire process extremely smooth and quick. I would definitely recommend SIXT and particularly the West Hollywood branch.

The car I rented from another Sixt location broke down so I was told by customer service to go to any location and get a replacement. However when I got there they told me they can’t replace my car until the original car arrives (which was going to take 2 hours according to customer service) I had plans to go to Disney and had to reschedule because of this. Staff was helpful, the company policies and communication was the blame.

Rented a car during my trip to LA for a few days. Already had the reservation and confirmation, this tall African American guy who was working there was completely useless and incredibly unhelpful. They gave the car I rented away and tried to upsell me a bmw for a higher cost than the car I originally rented. He said it was because they had already given the car I rented away since my pick up time was at 9am and they only hold it for an hour. How does that make sense? If you rent a car and arrive later in the day, how does one company just give a car away once it’s already confirmed. Second of all, he was incredibly illiterate and had no idea where my passport and drivers license was from and was telling me my drivers license needed to match my passport, it does, LOL. Lastly, he wanted to see an itinerary of my trip back, which is insanely incorrect and have never dealt with a car company asking for my private itinerary of my travels. I usually rent from Sixt, but rented from a different location and had zero issues in the past. I don’t know why this guy even has a job here or in general. Unreliable location!!!! Make the extra drive and rent elsewhere! Other reviewers are right by saying this place is shady.

Worst experience ever in the Santa Monica rental service. They have an employee they should arrest for harassment named Nethaneal S. who I have on video having to be held back from insulting me. Terrible place honestly really scared me

This place is shady. I returned a car I rented for a weekend with no damage and they checked it and said all was fine. Several days later I get a claim about damage that wasn’t on the car when I returned it. Since they gave the all clear when I returned it, I didn’t bother to take a photo or video at the time, but the photo of the damage definitely wasn’t there when I returned it. Don’t make the same mistake and rent elsewhere.
