Very pleasant experience. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. I had a choice of cars to pick from. The cars were clean and the service was very fast. When I returned the car at the Burbank airport on Tuesday the 4th. in the afternoon, I forgot my jacket inside the car and realized that after I left the car and headed to the terminal. I ran back to the rental place and I asked the gentleman who checked my car return (Not sure how his name is spelled, but I believe "Sarmid") and he ran to the car to get my jacket for me. I really appreciate that and I thank all the staff for being so nice. Definitely will be my regular car rental company from now on.

The car was fine and picking up and returning was easy. However, When I picked up the car I asked for the pre-paid fuel service option. On September 22 this was $5.13 per gallon. When I returned the vehicle on September 25, I was charged $5.75 per gallon – the cost to fill up when a customer does not return the car with a full tank. I think National Car owes me some money…

Due to the 3 day weekend there were no cars available in the Executive Aisle. I had to wait 25 mins for a car. The attendant was polite and courteous and brought a car to me as soon as one was washed and available. This was good customer service. My other comment is that the steering wheel was really dirty.

I had rented through National for a family vacation. My rental extended past my rental agreement which I called to notify them. All conversations are recorded and I still have the time and date I called. Person I spoke to told me my extended charge will be $55 a day. I was charged $193 for one day and to top it off I returned the car at 11:01pm and was told if I return it the same night I wouldn't get charged another day. The following morning I get an email that National charged me another day, so two days charged for $193 I called 3 times and all phone calls told me there would be an investigation and someone would get back with me. It's been nearly 3 weeks and I haven't heard from anyone. Whomever is in charge please reach out to me to fix the situation at hand. I am very upset of how the situation was handled and will be expecting someone getting back with me.

It was my first time renting from the company. The cars were lined up in the morning. The ones that were available had the window open. I selected the car I wanted and I drove out to the front gate and checked out a little before 6:00 am. It was very easy I had a reservation online. All they needed was my ID and I came to drop it after hours, and left the keys in the white dropbox. It was completely empty and no one was there, but the process was entirely easy.

Rental of the van went fairly smooth since NC Rental staff at Burbank Airport were able to get us a 12 passenger van rather than a 15 passenger van (no room for luggage). The van was comfortable with plenty of room for luggage. The only two problems were: 1. No steps to climb into the van. This made it difficult for some co-travelers to climb up and down. 2. No outlets to charge cell phones. Had to use own adapter. Return went very smooth. All together we were pretty happy with the entire process.

No problems with any of my interactions with National. The Emerald Aisle setup is pretty sweet, just walk right back and grab your favorite car in the aisle. Pretty slick.

Excellent service and I am extremely happy with the staff here. Christian one of the managers at the Burbank, CA location consistently helps me on a weekly basis with my rentals. He is professional, courteous and kind. I would recommend this rental car location to anyone interested in renting a car from Bob Hope/ Hollywood international airport.
