U-Haul Moving & Storage of Sun Valley

Great experience renting a 10 foot truck and car carrier for a long distance move. The location was clean, tidy, and well organized. We worked with Kim who was efficient, kind, and so very helpful getting us set up with the truck and car transport. She answered our questions with knowledge and patience. She observed us having a bit of a struggle and came back outside to share guidance on how to safely load and secure our vehicle. Kim's thoughtful and professional assistance gave us a boost of confidence as we began our moving adventure. Thank you Kim!! ~Rebecca

T-Mobile

Don’t go to this store. We waited for several minutes for help, only to be dismissed by the person working there. She wouldn’t help us at all, she simply said “We don’t handle that, you have to go to a different store.” My husband has a broken ankle and it’s difficult to get around. We got great service at the Las Feliz store and found out that this store most certainly should have helped us. Just skip them, there are plenty of T-Mobile stores who will actually help you. ~Jill

Verizon

I arrived early for my appointment and was immediately greeted and told to wait a minute while he got someone to help me. Very soon, Edgar came over to assist me. He made my experience the best I've ever had buying a phone. I'm an elderly man, hard of hearing, but he patiently walked me through the process, not minding when I asked him to repeat things. He didn't push anything on me, but laid the options before me and let me choose. I don't know if the other sales staff are this good, but I suggest you ask for Edgar. ~Soli

Ashley HomeStore

DO NOT ORDER FROM ASHLEYS EVER! I ordered a brand new dining set and this is what arrived. Butchered, dirty, and lopsided stools. Not to mention this was not the color I wanted. I’ve tried getting a hold of a manger from the store in Burbank and I was just put on hold forever. I’ve been getting the run around for over a week. Got a hold of the “supervisor of customer service today” and she was a total b****. She never asked for my name or number. I tried explaining my frustration to her, but she barley spoke any English and she clicked on me. Don’t bother buying your furniture from this horrible company. You’re better off buying from offer up since Ashely’s wants to sell dirty and broken furniture. ~Desirae

Previously On

My visit was pretty underwhelming. This could've been unlucky timing as I'm SURE the inventory completely depends on filming seasons and stuff. But I'm still going to share my experience. Movies are my life and I was really excited to buy some memorabilia, props, clothes, etc. Honestly though, most of the clothes are really cheap brands and they're not allowed to tell you what show - or who - they were on. Same with most of the other inventory. There were a couple cool props that I almost bought and luckily they were allowed to say what they were on, but I looked up the shows and they were cancelled/never aired. So they kindof lost their luster. IDK... maybe my expectations were too high. The man running the shop also didn't make me feel very welcome. Overall a disappointing visit. Might still be worth your time though. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt. ~Emily
