Giving one star just to leave a review. This store is HORRIBLE!!!! Customer service is so disgusting!!!! Drove an hour to this store because we were told that they had what we were looking for just to get there to be ignored and then told they don’t have anything in stock!!!! REALLY!!!! Employees didn’t even bother to check. Employee said that was not even their “dept”. So how do you know that you don’t have any items???? LAZY and don’t want to actually earn your paycheck!!!! This is why people shop online!!!! Not to mention that store is so dirty!!!! Figures it would be since the employees don’t do anything but sit around and gossip!!!! DONT WASTE THE TRIP OR YOUR TIME!!!!

Sean, the manager is just simply awesome. He made a horrible experience turn positive. He and his staff went above and beyond for me. If I could give them a ten ++ rating I would. The Charlotte pike location is awesome.

this isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience here. I was shopping and this older man with reddish hair popped up everywhere I was. Very creepy. Then as I was standing still looking at something he appears with a broom and starts sweeping under my feet. The broom even hit my ankle a couple times and I’m trying to jump around to get out of his way. I have feet issues so this is disturbing. I was standing still mind you shopping !!! Haven’t been in that store since the last incident a couple years ago when security was chasing some woman ahead of me and tried to hold me instead in the pouring rain There were several security there (several !!) and then said oh no it was the other person ahead of her. Been a couple years since then and thought I’d try it again Spent over $100 but Will never be back. This place is crazy !!!

Rude! Dumbest employees ever! I had to call the 800 # the woman was nice and said that should never have happened to me but she took my number and NO ONE CALLED ME TO FIX MY PROBLEM! STILL UNRESOLVED!!!!

I love shopping there until I get to the check our counter. Despite my initial excitement over rediscovering this store, due to the service I will not be shopping at the Charlotte pike location anymore. Over the course of three separate trips with three different employees checking out, it was consistently very poor service. It was a combination of didn't understand me, didn't listen, I had a return that she did not ring up with the order (Despite that I had let her know beforechecking out) and she asked me to go to the end of the line of 4 customers. All 4 had joined the line after me.

Big lots used to be a store where I can go in and handle all my shopping needs. Big lots is now downsizing their electronics. They used to carry tablets gaming software and more or no you'll be lucky to find a charger for your car.

I stopped by for a set a sheets, and since I was short on time, I bought exactly what I went to the store to buy! Big Lots tend to have great home furnishings for a fraction of the price of other places....depending on what your looking for, so I knew that I would find something of quality, yet inexpensive. It's been awhile since I've shopped here, so it was refreshing to see the new layout of the store! Very nice! I didn't have time to go to the the furniture area, but there was a nice 4 chair/table set near the front door that was quite nice. I would have rated this review a five, but the cashier didn't speak or acknowledge my presence before or while ringing up my purchase. He wasn't rude or anything, but a basic and simple "hello" is not hard to do. I try not to make a huge deal out of cashiers who lack basic customer service skills, but it is annoying as hell. I worked part time over 10 years at a big box store so I understand the environment. But at least PRETEND to want to be at work!
