My wife has severe PTSD and is the sweetest person I have ever known. Today she called the pharmacy to get a legitimate, doctor ordered prescription. When she called the pharmacy she was treated and talked to in the most disrespectful and condescending manner. This has upset my wife and it caused her to have an episode. But the pharmacy wasn't satisfied with that. So they decided to just hang the phone up on her like she didnt even matter. When she called back to complain they all of a sudden got amnesia and tried to make my wife more upset. As a prologue I can tell you that we went to a different pharmacy and the prescription WAS valid and my wife finally obtained her prescription and was treated with respect at a different Walmart pharmacy in another city. We will NEVER shop at the Newport Walmart pharmacy again!!!!!

Rude and refused to fill a prescription for my wife because she normally uses a small local pharmacy but was reffered to Wal-Mart's pharmacy for this particular prescription by her usual pharmacist because she is cash pay and there is a discount card for Wal-Mart pharmacy that would have saved her a little over $100 on this prescription. Yes she was pharmacy shopping but not for illegal reasons, just to save money. It's not a crime to try to save money.

Great pharmacy with very friendly technicians that are willing to help you understand your medications and quick to help you get answers to your questions. The primary pharmacist, Tony, is very dedicated to his patients, making sure that each prescription is filled correctly and quickly, so that you're not held up any longer than necessary. I have gotten my medication there for 15 years and wouldn't change a thing!
