Advance Auto Parts in Powell, TN, is the answer to a lot of prayers that Powell residents have needed for a long time! The reason...Charlie, the technician who installs a LOT of the parts purchased at Advance Auto Parts!!! Charlie replaced a headlight on my previous car, a 2009 Ford Taurus. The man did the job, spent about 1.5 hours working on my headlight (a LOT of disassembly and reassembly was involved!) and did NOT want a cent for his time! Today, Monday, Oct. 3rd, 2022, I stopped in and told Charlie that one of my reverse lights was out. I told him that I had bought bulbs previously, right there, for my 2009 Taurus (I, now, have a 2008 Taurus SEL!) and asked if he would put a bulb in. He said, "Sure!" and got his socket and went to work! Ten minutes later, he was finished and I have TWO, working reverse lights!!! Charlie did not charge me for his service! Like I said earlier, Charlie in a "MIRACLE-COME-TRUE" for the Powell, TN, community!!! Thank you and God bless you, Charlie!!!

This location has always been helpful. I had to return a faulty part and they handled it quickly and professionally. The manager even discounted the replacement part to the same cost so I wouldn't have any out of pocket expense. Excellent customer care!

Love this advanced and the one off of Merchants/Clinton hwy. They are always friendly and helpful. I have very rarely gotten the wrong part. I seem to have better luck here. I definitely recommend them.

Just left . I’ll never go back . TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE . No greeting no help slow . I waited 10 minutes in line as the next customer in line. 3 store associates at the registers 1 helping someone But two of them were doing a return to the store together seemed illegal and shady at least . So instead of helping a customer they were too busy doing personal things and a LINE of people started accumulating as I stood there. The employees were only concerned with themselves . Blasting evil rock music too . Seemed like a teenage hangout where they got minimum wage to not care about any customer . GO TO AUTO ZONE they are far far far more professional this place is a disgrace to the brand.

I can visually see 5 employees and I'm the only customer in the store. None if them will make eye contact or acknowledge I exist, as I stand at the register for 10 min. As a last ditch effort, I approach an employee and ask, "Do you sell car parts here?" and they shrug and reply, "supposedly..." and turn their back on me. Autozone is directly across the street and definitely does sell car parts, save yourself some trouble and just go there instead.
