I had a package delivered to the wrong address by accident. My phone auto filled shipping information but I didn't know about it until I got the notification that it had been delivered. The notification showed me that the package was delivered to the spring Hill post office, which I thought was a little suspicious considering I live in Thompson station. So I went to the spring Hill post office and inquired about the package in question. I was told that it had been delivered to a different address. I realized then what had happened and asked if it was my old dress. Once they confirmed that, the woman helping me insisted that I allow the mail person who delivered it to also retrieve it. She said that because of the law, the people didn't technically have to give me back the package. So it would be better for the mailman to ask. I said fine. I appreciated the heads up and it was my understanding that once the mail person retrieved the items, I could then come to the post office to pick them up. A few days pass by and I still haven't gotten a phone call. I found some time in my busy schedule to get a hold of the post office again and they informed me that the package had been forwarded to my current address. I was thankful that they did that however confused because I thought I would be retrieving it from the post office. All they had to do was get the package and I would come get it. It's now 3 weeks later and after many failed attempts at the over the phone customer service machine I finally was able to find out that they actually sent the package back to the sender, so it was not forwarded to my address and I've been wasting 3 weeks waiting on this package that was never going to come. I finally had to get a hold of the business from which I ordered to inform them of the confusion and miscommunication. I spoke to one gentleman on the phone who is very kind and informative, but other than that every person that I dealt with at the spring Hill post office was not helpful or professional with their communication with each other to get my issue solved. It has been a month-long debacl that could've been solved in a matter of days.

Clerk # 6 is rude and ugly acting. There is no excuse for treating people like dirt. She should be suspended.

This USPS location lies to Amazon about delivering packages. I am missing 5 packages they never deliered and never left a card in the mail box to pick them up. This has been an ongoing inssue since moving to Spring Hill. Unbeliveable poor--poor service and obvious theviery.

Our Local office is great! The Union has pretty much ruined the National USPS as a whole, as it does with everything they strong arm their way into! If this was only for the USPS Spring Hill, TN Offuce then it would be 5 ⭐️ all the way!! They are super friendly, very nice and work as quickly as possible to get you in and out!

This is my second time ordering online from a business in Spring Hill, TN. Both times tracking shows Spring Hill post office has my package just sitting around for a WEEK without movement. Once my package finally leaves Spring Hill, TN is it delivered to Kansas within 2 days.

As far as the postal service goes. This office is by far the worst. And at the head is Ken Matsumoto. Packages never get delivered. Those that do get delivered get delivered to the original sender. Even pacels sent by other carriers wind up in Ken's uncapable hands. Where he proceeds to bumble every delivery to our site. P.s. look elsewhere when you are sending payroll. The USPS, through Ken Matsumoto, have delayed payroll for our company on more than one occasion, and for a duration of greater than three weeks. I have never had such a bad experience with the USPS. Never use this post office. Never send mail through the USPS. Tell everyone you can to stay away from this office and this carrier. Every package they have handled has been bumbled. Wish I could leave negative stars. Update 6Jan22, Ken Matsumoto is now destroying my packages instead of delivering them. And nobody at the USPS is helping. Nobody is open. And everytime I try and call someone, the only response I get is, that's not our office. Apparently USPS workers are above the law and can destroy any bodies mail. This is a sick age we are living in. Especially when federal employees refuse to do their job, and in doing so, they maliciously hurt others, and their businesses. This location has been on a tail spin for what looks like two decades. I pray to God they don't destroy payroll, like they did another package, for us. Update 9Jan22, now along with Ken Matsumoto refusing to have the mail delivered, Carrie Halmayr the postmaster, refuses to have mail delivered. It seems the entire post office in Springhill, thrives on the power to rake people across the coals, by not delivering mail. All levels of the management there white wash every complaint, as though it never happened. And refuse to problem solve. At the first inclination of something complex relating to mail. They dissolve to two options; throw it in the trash, or return to sender. Stay away from this postal office by all means, they will not do their jobs, and your mail will assuredly get lost, thrown out, or RTS. Worst experience ever with a postal office. Update 18Jan22, I have called police offices, the city mayor's office, had the mayor for spring hill on the phone, sent countless email to senators and congress members. The USPS seems to be a third rail. And it is going down the drain. No matter how much people complain about this three decade long terrible office, it keeps running. This office is why people have lost faith in humanity.

I would give the Spring Hill, TN postal service negative stars if it was possible. They clearly have no idea how to manage the mail or packages when they have to put them in the communal boxes. It does not happen once or twice, but almost every package. Our community Facebook page is constantly full of posts about missing packages and mail. While on hold they are constantly using the words reliable, trustworthy, safe, but at the end of the day now of these things described our postal service.

Everyone has always been quick and friendly. We have never had any problems. One mail carrier went above and beyond and excepted a package that wouldn’t fit in the drop box even though it was after hours. My boyfriend really needed to get that package out so it was very appreciated!

So why is it that I have lived in many places where the USPS was ok with delivering oversized packages to my door, but here they absolutely refuse... and I can see the mailbox from my apartment, so it wouldn’t be a stretch. I have had to return shipments to sender and pay extra for shipping because my local mail service can’t seem to do their job. Whoever their Sunday delivery person is, I’m grateful, because he/she has brought things to my door from time to time. The other person is clearly lazy and uninterested in providing proper customer service... government agency or not... not reliable at all... I have been desperately trying to get shoppers to boycott them because of the frequent problems I keep having.

We have lived here for over 3 years, and always had Fabulous assistance whenever I go in there, friendly, and helpful. The only bad thing, is we left for about a week, 3 days before we left, I put in a hold on our mail early in the morning, that Tuesday, we were leaving on Friday, and whe we were gone our mail continued to be delivered, thank goodness we had someone watching the house.
