Update: I received a call from a very nice pharmacist at this location who told me that they are currently operating the pharmacy as drive-thru only to pick up prescriptions. I appreciate Walgreens getting back to me and allowing people to get their scripts. Thank you. Original review: The pharmacy has been closed unexpectedly for 4+ days now. There is NOBODY on site to authorize transfers for controlled medications, meaning you're dead in the water unless your doctor can push a new script. If your doctor is out of town and can't submit a new one, too bad for you - you're going without your medication! This is unbelievably unacceptable and I cannot believe a place like Walgreens can't just have a pharmacist on site to push these transfers along. They simply do not care about you or your health. UNREAL.

The pharmacy is so slow now. I have used them for years with no problem. Now it takes so long in line to pick up. You can watch CVS help 10 people in their pick up line and you are stuck 2cd in line for over 45 minutes. Ready to change pharmacys

Went into the store . It was fairly busy , and I had a prescription to pick up . The line was long but I noticed they were short handed. Even though I was in a rush I had to stay put. Eventually, the young lady helped me . She was very respectful to each customer and beyond helpful. I saw her checking in people for vaccinations and filling medicines.

This has to be the worst store I have been to! The pharmacy included. They have texted me that my prescription is ready. I get to the store they informed me that they don’t have anything ready. I will never use this place again. Please use another pharmacy.

If you made a vaccine appointment, just becareful. Their system is lying and then send you another date by email. and that pharmacy lady is rude enough to mess your day. sorry walgreens you deserve this.

Last time i told an employee about 2 locations of same thing with different prices she said shed honor lower than didnt want to. Today she price checked higher than it rang up then got mad when i wanted more n didnt give me a receipt. The manager assisted me find stuff tho

The other night I had ran to this Walgreens to ship a very important package that needed to be returned to sender through their in store FedEx service. I had put my package in the same package that it had been sent to and assumed that they would cover the sender tag with a new tag to return since that’s what FedEx does. Sherry was the one who took my package. Today I received my package that was supposed to be sent to the sender back in my front steps. A total waste of my time. If you have any FedEx regarded shipments, I suggest you go to the FedEx office instead of wasting your time here.

Appointment times mean nothing here. Your Covid testing appointment will be bumped by people in line who have not scheduled an appointment. PCR results are currently taking more than 3 days and no option to reach out to PWNHealth until 5 days. Meanwhile you can drive through at UTSW and receive a result in 24 hours.

Here lately they have been lazy or not doing Dr authorization for medications from doctor to get approved through health insurance. They don’t even use our new health insurance to get medicine cheaper. I posted through the Walgreens website through the pharmacy section of the site and went in person to give them the new insurance. One medicine through insurance is supposed to be $50 and they charge over $1600 for it and they still haven’t got Dr authorization either and it’s been over a week. My husband diabetic and he can’t get his medicine through the insurance because they can’t get Dr authorization. Meanwhile, his blood sugar is over 200 and he is getting damage and Walgreens doesn’t care about your health anymore. I have other medicines they didn’t even use the new insurance. They want you to pay the highest price possible or use a discount drug like GoodRx which is still high. These medicines also need Dr authorization and they not doing it. I’m considering changing if it does not get better.

This has been our go-to pharmacy for the last 4 years. The staff always go out of their way to resolve our issues and recently offered to pick up my prescription at another store since they didn’t have it in stock. They literally drove to another walgreens store 15 minutes away to get the medication for us.
