If I could give zero stars, I would. For months I have been trying to give this location a chance because they are close to my house after many, many mishaps and really, really poor service from the pharmacy but I am finally moving my prescription elsewhere. Today, I walked inside to the pharmacy and I was directed to the drive through because they were only doing service through the drive through. I wait in line at the drive through for 30min and, as the last car in line, finally pull up. Upon arriving at the window as the last car in line, I am told to come back later because they are going on break. They should have served me after waiting this long or just told me when I entered the line that this would happen, saving my time. This location is the worst in the McKinney/Allen area and I am totally done with this clown show.

Poor service, poor time management and poor customer service. Will never come back to this place again for covid testing. Took 1hr to get the test done via drive thru, very cold interaction with the technicians, especially Angela. Choose another location or another provider altogether.

Absolutely HORRID customer service. Drove my daughter directly to this Walgreens on McDermott in Allen, dropped off prescriptions, was told to come back at 2:30. Came by at 3:30 (several hours after our first trip daughter still under anesthesia) and told sorry, they are shorthanded, cannot give a time frame except…for certain…by the end of the day which means by 5pm when they close. Both times, told to wait for text notification. Received text notification, live VERY close by….go to the drive through….long line. Thats ok. We’ll wait, just happy to get meds needed after surgery. Wait…suddenly…they shut down the pharmacy so that the vehicle in front of me and my vehicle…no such luck. Using Walgreens not by choice. Related to insurance changes. CVS…would NEVER shut everything down until the remaining customers have been helped.

The Walgreens location located on McDermott in Allen, TX unlawfully detained my wife and step son because the cashier did not know the difference between a fake and real $100 dollar bill. The cashier contact law enforcement, exposing my wife to a custodial interrogation and search, not to mention a violation of her 4th and 14th Amendment rights. See you in Court Walgreens.

Need a covid vaccine to travel, made appointment for this store online, arrived 15 minutes early as instructed, stood in line at the pharmacy for 35 minutes only to be told when I got to the counter that they did not do vaccines at this location. Young clerk at the pharmacy made it sound like it was my fault, that they had not done vaccines for months and did not know why I signed up for their location (duh, because the website allowed it), no explanation, no apology, no help, just that I would need to go elsewhere. Will take my business to a competent store that cares.

Very poorly run pharmacy. Each time I renew prescriptions there is a multi day delay. Then to pick them up it takes over an hour wait on line. I only use Walgreens as this is what my health insurer recommends. Someone in corp needs to look at these reviews and address these issues.

I mean.. aren't pharmacies here to serve us? Why would you close at 7pm? Do you realize your customers all have jobs and a life? Who comes to your pharmacy during the day? Why don't you guys open at 4pm and stay open until 10pm???? You are not doing your customers ANY favor by closing at 6 or 7pm. This is wrong!

The pharmacists were so rude. We called 3 times and have been on hold for more than an hour. They hung up twice before we finally got to talked to a person. They were impatient and simply DID NOT want to talk to any customers. You'd think someone who gone through all that higher education would have learned manner. We will drive further to have our scripts filled elsewhere.

On my way home from minor surgery on my back I stopped to buy some bandages. I got what I needed and headed to check out, stood at least 6 feet from the lady checking out in front of me and when she stepped away I moved toward Elle, the cashier, when suddenly a man came from the side and put his things on the counter. Elle began checking him out. I said, Excuse me I was next in line. Elle said, You aren’t in line! The line is over there, pointing to her left. There was not a line of people anywhere! When I put my bandages on the counter to pay I said there was no one in line, did you not see me standing there? She said, You were standing in the wrong place and what did you expect me to do, stop what I was doing? I was shocked that she spoke to me so incredibly rudely. I will never go back to this Walgreens as long as this girl works in this store. I’ve never been spoken to by an employee at any store ever in my life the way Elle spoke to me. I hope she was just having a bad day and this isn’t the kind of person this young lady truly is.

Go take your business else where. The pharmacy is a joke at this location. From mishandling people’s medication to turning walk-ins for the vaccine. Last time I came to get my shot had an appointment and was told it didn’t matter. Because they said the appointment system didn’t work. Waiting over an hour to get a 10second shot. This time I walked in and was told I need an appointment. Alex G you should get fired. You’re causing the bottle neck of this location because you can’t communicate effectively or efficiently with customers. Walgreens do better. This location needs to be closed or a new pharmacist.
