The actual facility is top of the line, Clean Matt, Full Gym, Lockers and Changing Rooms, An elevated viewing area for Parents and the list goes on. More than glad to say we train here!

As far as BJJ schools go this is a top tier one. Pablo and his students are intense and focused on positions (points) and submissions. The atmosphere is upbeat, school is inviting with its pristine white mats, weight room upstairs, lots of changing rooms and plenty of space overall. Kids program is on point. The kids are disciplined and diligent in their practice. Coaches maintain this structure and reinforce good respectful habits. This is an ideal space to learn, practice and compete BJJ.

This is my first "long-term" gym for BJJ, and I couldn't ask for a better group of people to train with. In both the fundamentals and competition class there are students from a wide range of backgrounds. They've all been welcoming and happy to share what they know, but they also bring the intensity to every training session, especially when sparring. Professor Pablo is a fantastic coach as well, offering to teach techniques that have been tested, and succeed, at high-level competition. He distills them into a way that's easy to understand and also provides the means to hone them through live rounds during competition class and drills/positional sparring in fundamentals.

First and foremost, Pablo Silva is legitimate competitor, Professor, and leader. My son joined Pablo Silva in hopes of taking his BJJ game to the next level. A competitor since the age of 5, he hit a plateau. We knew we made the correct decision after the first class. Pablo's teaching style is super technical, effective, and he teaches in a way easy to absorb. He genially cares for his students and their success. Pablo's instructors and team are some of the most knowledgeable in the BJJ world and competition results show. If you are looking to take your game to the next level, this is the place for you.

Our child who is 3 is enrolled in Pablo Silva Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 3-7 yr age bracket; and we absolutely love it. From day one Pablo and staff are genuine and very patient. We've noticed a significant change in confidence and taking of instructions. She looks forward to each class and smiles non-stop. Highly highly recommend!!

We put our son in PSBJJ when he turned four. He was "having problem focusing in Pre-K" according to his teachers. We figured he was a four year old boy with a LOT of energy. I was skeptical at first since he was so young and everyone else was so far ahead of him. Pablo is very good for and with him. He is learning to focus and gets the direction he needs. It also helps with endless supply of energy. I have also noticed a big difference in his coordination vs other kids his age. He is five and a half now and a gray belt. I also love the fact that now I can work out while my son is training in the upstairs gym for a nominal extra fee. I would recommend PSBJJ to anyone!

I came to Pablo’s academy after trying out several gyms in the Houston area. Pablo’s gym has the best instruction and training partners that I’ve ever encountered. Pablo is a world class instructor and competitor who takes the time to monitor and give constructive feedback to all of his students, and he is fully dedicated to pushing his students to be their best. Pablo is fully dedicated to building a great team at his academy, and it shows. Pablo’s team feels like a family, where there are no egos or bad attitudes. As a new white belt, it felt a little intimidating stepping into a gym where world class competitors train, but everyone from the newest white belt to the most seasoned competitors feel welcome and at home at Pablo’s school. The team here has so many experienced training partners to work with and ask questions, and everyone is very open and helpful. Training at Pablo’s academy has gotten me into shape and really changed my life for the better. I cannot say enough good things about Pablo and all of my training partners at his gym.

I have trained at the Pablo Silva Jiu Jitsu Academy since the summer of 2014 and I have found his school to be first class in every respect. Pablo Silva is a World Champion on the mat and in life, and I have found his instruction to be outstanding and second to none.
