I had a truly horrible experience moving that I would like to share to aid in others decision making as moving is already stressful. We picked up our Uhaul the morning of our move and the A/C was working. We loaded the 15ft truck with all of our things and brought the truck back to the Uhaul location as instructed to get the sedan we were towing attached to the tow dolly. When driving back to the Uhaul site the A/C went out and was blowing hot air. The temperature that day was 105 in the Texas August heat. I knew the 4 hour drive to houston in these conditions would be borderline unbearable. I told the staff about the A/C and was told that There was nothing they could do to help me and to “not run the A/C all the time to help the unit”. We then PAID for the staff to attach the tow dolly with our sedan to have it professionally done and know that it was safe and secure. The team who loaded it did not give me confidence but I trusted them. We were about 2 hours into the miserable drive, in which I had a pool of my own sweat on the seat and the ground, when we pulled over to use the bathroom. I checked on the tow dolly as instructed and the entire driver side wheel was displaced and the strap had came off. This horrified me as my fiancée was traveling behind me and who knows what would have happened if we had went any further. We then called Uhaul roadside assistance and waited 2 hours in the middle of nowhere at night for someone to assist us with the tow dolly to secure it for our drive. We finally get to our destination hours after we should have and the moving assistance we ordered through the uhaul moving service website never showed up. We paid $123 for the movers in houston and they never showed. We understand this is a third party company that uhaul denies any responsibility for, yet they assisted and approved. I filed a claim to report all of the issues we saw on our move and was told to wait for a call from the GM of the site in Ft. Worth on Denton Hwy. I followed up with them 3 days later and was told that “the truck was fine when it left” and there was nothing they could do. It might have been a series of freak accidents but was more likely a series of incidents stemming from inadequate training. We will not be utilizing Uhaul’s services again.

Rented a truck for less than 6 hours and when I asked about the toll was told they bill you later. Well they billed me twice and keep adding tolls to the bill. Was never told about a $1 admin fee for each toll you drive through and I submitted a dispute over a month ago and have yet to get a response. Do not use their service. Even the wait time when you go in person is long for pick up and drop off and it seems only one person actually wants to work.

This place is a mess! There was an employee that said he was new and a girl that was training him kept being rude to him and ignored him when he was trying to help us with our rental.

I just have to say these guys were incredible!! We were in a pinch and they helped us get a storage box same day and went above and beyond helping us the whole process! It started becoming a challenging day, but they turned it around for us!

I’d give zero stars if it was possible. System wouldn’t let me cancel, on hold for thirty minutes or more to be told they can’t help me after double charging me…. Called me back knowing I was back at work and can’t answer. Worst experience ever. They don’t care. Hire a mom and pop mover. Don’t wast time on these fools.

I was quoted one price, they doubled it when I had my son pick up the truck....Joe's response to me was well you shouldn't have sent you kid to sign the contract.....the lack of customer service is unbelievable

Friendly staff - in particular, Jennifer and Trey are great to work with. They will do all they can for you as long as you're making a reasonable request. After renting trucks from others, I've brought all my business to them and have also rented a storage unit from them - storage is clean and well-maintained, and I've yet to have any issues with security or access.

Reserved online, came in at 7am to pickup the trailer. They helped me connect the trailer to my SUV. Drop off was smooth. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Was hesitant booking with this location from the reviews but my experience was nothing like those described from previous reviewers. Would definitely book again with this location.

I want to give a big thumbs up to Jennifer and Greg here at the 377 location. I went in needing a bigger ball for my hitch not that big of deal easy purchase. But Greg took good care of me and went ahead and switched it out for me making that much less of a hassle for me. Meanwhile Jennifer was not only great conversation but informative on an upcoming auction date, the process to the auctions, and gave me a great idea for a trailer lock. Thanks to you both.
