I ordered a pair of pants for my son and they were to small. I called and ask what I should do as I needed them soon. They instructed me to purchase a bigger size and send them back and they would reimburse my shipping f I made notes that it was part of a exchange. I did not get the shipping back and they denied everything. Said you don’t get shipping back. But I was told I would since I was exchanging them. They kept telling me that it was on their website that refunds are not given for shipping and I understand that but I made not 1 but 2 calls to make sure I heard correctly. And each time I was told that since it was part of an exchange that it would be refunded for shipping. Very unprofessional. I will not purchase again.

This is the best place in Houston and its surrounding areas to visit for any of your armed forces (not just Army, but also Air Force, Navy, Civil Air Patrol, Coast Guard) needs. I visited this store for dress, patches and shoes for Civil Air Patrol. They had it all. The best part about this store is the PEOPLE! Customer service is 5 stars!!! They are so humble. They listen and fully understand your needs and help you immediately find the right items. They will spend time with you. They have my utmost respect. They are one of the best people you will ever meet shopping who are actually trying to help you. I am super thankful to them for coming in last minute for even sewing the patches on my child's uniform. It was wrong on my part to ask, but since I had droven for an hour to reach them, they made an exception and helped me out. And what a fabulous job they did. Thank you Thank you Thank you! You guys are the best in town. Please keep it up. We are lucky to have you in Houston.

Always good quality items, nothing has failed me yet. They called about a costume, the size i ordered is backordered so they called to either change the size or color. Not alot of places call, they'd rather email. But that human to human interaction makes everything and the quality of customer service better. Stay awesome guys!

First time in the store. Staff was professional, friendly and very helpful. Very large inventory and all sorts of military stuff. Recommend to everyone and will go back there for purchases, even tough I live far.

Army Surplus World has a vast majority of military items you can think of from all branches of the military. Its conveniently located where its means of egress is easily accessible. The staff here is super great as well. I went in to find a campaign uniform hat. They didnt have the color I was looking for but definitely will be back for other items that caught my eye.

Ordered a pair of pants from here. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love them, but the sizing chart is completely off. I measured myself before ordering, and the pants came 4 inches too big in my waist, and in the length. I figured it'd be no problem, and I could just exchange them, but of course it was not so simple. Not only did I have to pay an extra 20$ to send them back for the exchange (because they don't send return receipts), but then I also had to pay another additional $10 for them to send the exchanged pair back to me. Then after everything I had to proceed to call and get the tracking number, because at this point I've been waiting days in never received one. What was supposed to be a 40$ pair of pants turned into a 70$ pair of pants. Love their products , but I will never buy online from them again after this, only in-store which is impossible. I'm in Louisiana.

CHECK YOUR MRE. I was told they were new packages and I looked up the dates. I was given 2017 mreS loose packets. That is not sitting well with me. Thank goodnes i didnt buy whole box of them. The instant heat pouches didn't work on two of spakco brand.
