This company does not provide all that it promises. My brand new bedroom furniture incurred almost $1000.00 worth of damages, my piano (which was in impeccable condition prior sustained as well almost $1000.00 worth of repairs needed. This company promised that my furniture would be crated; only later to find out that is not what occurs. They change the wording, and as well their representatives mark wood items as scratched when there are none. I have filed a claim as of this past July 2015, just after my move. To date the settlement is only $66.00 which documentation does not state what exactly they are taking responsibility for. Mover beware!!!!! I spoke to a company representative who mentioned that (crating to them means, "cardboard crating!". This aspect was not even present when I peered into the moving truck upon receivership. According to other company's comparable to Orange, and as well to a representative from this company; when asked prior to my move for clarification on what crating meant, the rep and other stated that my items would be placed into a wooden crate. I questioned the truck driver/person, in charge of my items during the transit from Pennsylvania to California, who mentioned when asked about why my items were damaged. He said point blank, "That is what insurance is for!".........Nooooooooo, We, the consumer, pay to have our items handled with care. Again. Movers......Be.....Aware.......If you value what you have don't use this company or any other that moves your items in the same manner.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Terrible company!! Look at all these negative reviews, because I was too naive to check! Avoid avoid avoid! It is not worth the "savings" you will feel like up front to be jerked around! The moving estimators and customer service front people setting up my move were great - from the moment the "movers" and their pit bull terrier arrived, it was down hill! We were completely overcharged, once they had everything on the truck (which was an Enterprise rental truck...) and at 11 PM on a weekend, we find out that we can't pay the overcharges with a credit card! Personal check or cash only?? And after hearing numerous times that we could get a Saturday delivery, we get a call for a Wednesday delivery, and told it will be $500/day to wait until Saturday! What a scam! Avoid Avoid Avoid!

I booked over the phone with Sarah who worked with me for weeks to get everything set up and to change my inventory list at least a dozen times. She was very pleasant to work with and really put my mind at ease. On the day of the move of course I forgot about a handful of items I was moving but luckily they were great and didn’t charge me because Sarah insisted a left some wiggle room just in case. Well she was right! it all worked out great and I got all of my stuff just 5 days later from Houston to Albuquerque. Orange really impressed me with the whole move process. Well done. Highly recommended.... Crawler

I was quoted for $1500 for the original moving cost. Thinking I got a great deal after doing a bunch of research, I decided to move forward with this company. What a TERRIBLE Mistake. I am a single female with a normal amount of stuff for a one bedroom apartment. I gave them a list of everything I had at the best of my ability. When the movers got to my apartment they started packing everything into the moving truck while the guy went over the paperwork. After walking through and counting my boxes and furniture and told me I was off on the quote. Ok, I thought maybe 500 - $1000 MAX. No it was DOUBLE the cost!!! DOUBLE. How can a company who does this for a living be that far off on a quote. They should have an idea on how much a standard one bedroom apartment costs to move, even if I was off on the list of things I gave them. At that point I felt backed into a corner because they were already loading my stuff so I couldn't tell them no, never mind, i'm not going with this company it's too expensive. They kept bringing up these hidden costs that had never been communicated before that point. I'm moving to NYC and was told if the truck can't fit in the street that they would have to park it somewhere where the truck fits and shuttle everything to my apartment. Not once did they mention that would be an additional $500. Then I needed to put the stuff in storage until I found an apartment in NYC. The minute I signed my lease, I called them to have them deliver everything. I called on a Wed afternoon and by Monday nothing had been done. I told them I had to have everything there by Friday. They told me it was getting loaded on Monday and starting the drive on Monday. Tuesday I got a call to let me know my stuff was just getting loaded and that I probably wouldn't have my stuff for another week!! I'm paying an astronomical price and they are taking FOREVER to delivery my stuff!!! I tried talking to customer service several times and no one was helpful. They honestly could have given two shits to help remedy this entire situation. They were an absolute NIGHTMARE to deal with. I've moved a lot in my life and never had I had such a HORRIBLE experience with a moving company. I HIGHLY HIGHLY Suggest not using this company for your next move!!

This company is terrible. I strongly recommend spending a few hundred dollars more to get a real moving company. They completely screwed me on both the pick up and delivery times. They originally made plans to come 9:00-11:00 am on the following day and I shifted around my schedule to accommodate that. Then at 7:00 pm the night before they send an email saying they'll be there 12-4:00 pm sometime. When they weren't showing up or even having enough consideration to let me know they were going to be late I called them... I was put on hold for a half hour before hanging up and trying again. THEN they wouldn't answer! They see your number on the caller ID and ignore you! I had to call them from another number to get through finally & chewed someone's ass enough to get them to promise a truck would be their that night. This would have meant they only screwed me out of one work day BUT instead they ended up getting to my house at 9:30 pm and didn't finish until about midnight... My neighbors loved that!!! Oh yeah, I had to be up at 4:00 am to go to work the next morning. On the receiving end they sucked too. They have no consideration for the customer's time. They get there when they get there. They will try to charge you more than you were quoted once they're there for the pick up too. I was quoted $1740 to move from CO to IL and when they were there they said that even though my inventory list was exactly as listed on the quote it would cost more because some of the pieces were "bulky". I wasn't having it and raised enough hell with them to where I didn't pay anything extra. Just about every piece of furniture was damaged or knicked in some way. Most of the boxes looked like they were thrown off the back of the truck onto pavement at some point. An expensive tool box was comptely bashed in on one side because they didn't secure it to a wall in the truck. They tell you that they use their own trucks when they're selling to you, but that's a bunch of BS too. They use outside carriers in to pick up and deliver for sure and your stuff will be loaded, unloaded and stored multiple times before it gets to you. That's likely where most of my damages were incurred. If you don't get it yet... THIS COMPANY SUCKS!

Don't go with this company, they will steal your expensive items like TV and will provide you insurance $0.60/ lbs(big joke). for example if you item price is $1000 but its wait is 10lbs then you will get $6 as claimed amount in insurance and to get $6 you have to fill lots of documents and post hard copies, photoes and bills and then wait for 2 months to get $6. I used their service to move form Colorado to Texas(Lee is the sales person who contacted me and made a deal to move our partial home). and they delayed the shipment and while delivery they didn't deliver our most expensive item $600 LED TV and that was the only item(except other items) my kids was waiting eagerly..I called their customer care only lady sitting in CA several times but got her irritated reply everytime that she didn't get any update on missing TV from Colorado office and also she is not ready to share any phone number of Colorado office. They also damaged my 2 new mattress and spring box. My family is very upset because of this. We are in loss of around $3000 and they don't care for anything only they need their money that they will take from you before delivering your shipment

Worst experience ever!!!!! They are apparently taking the full 21 BUSINESS days to deliver our stuff, which ends up being almost a full month after we expected delivery. The sales person was really easy to get ahold of & said they almost always get it to you within a couple days of the date you give them that you are available but that is such a joke. It takes us days to get ahold of anyone to get an answer on if our stuff is even loaded yet & they aren't able to be reached after hours or on weekends. There is absolutely no customer service with this company. We are dreading seeing what kind of condition all of our stuff is in when it hopefully does get here by the deadline date of 21 days next week. We have been sleeping on aerobeds, borrowing kitchen items & bought minimal sheets & towels just to get us through until this unknown delivery date. They won't estimate a delivery date for you until they load the items & then the driver will likely call the day before to let you know when they will be there. So mad at myself that we are paying so much money for such a crappy experience & we can't do anything about it. Not exactly what I pictured when moving to a new house in another state. Do not hire this company!!!!!!

These guys are crooks. We spent $10,000 for an expedited move from New Orleans to Houston and were promised that we would have our own truck. When the driver showed up she wasn't able to fit everything on the truck because the previous pickup had twice as much as they had planned for. Uh...wasn't this supposed to be our truck? It didn't help that the driver wouldn't answer her phone and always had excuses. So along with a few small items, they left our bbq smoker and charcoal grill, and the driver said that she comes back to New Orleans all the time and can pick it up and deliver it to us, no problem. We decided, OK, I guess there's no other choice. Well, after that we were unable to contact the driver, kept getting the run-around when we called the company, and still no grill and smoker. When I FINALLY was able to corner them into telling me SOMETHING, they assured me that the driver was headed there the next day and would pick the items up. I let my previous landlord know, as well as the new tenants and they had to go over and unlock the back gate. Of course they never showed up. So at this point my landlord is getting mad, and I decided to just ask for a reimbursement. When I called to see what the process for doing this was, I was transferred to a supervisor named Katya who refused to admit any wrong-doing and refused to give me a reimbursement. She contacted the driver who told her that she would be there to pick my items up later in the week, but I know that it's not going to happen. Katya told me that there's no way she was going to reimburse me, and that I was welcome to file a claim but "that won't do any good because we know where your items are." Oh, and did I mention that she hung up on me? Terrible customer service, lies, untrustworthy, and rude. How hard would it be to just say, "Yes, I can totally understand why you are frustrated and here is what we are going to do to fix it." Instead I get, "I don't know what you want me to tell you. Please don't call here again, I have other customers." Terrible!

I was quoted 820 Cubic feet at $2,550.00. By the time the movers had left I was at 1150 Cubic Feet and $3,634.70. We were given a "special" of 10 free rolls of tape. Everything we owned was already taped up in boxes and packed. The brokered out movers that were hired from craigslist retaped everything and somehow went over 9 rolls at 4.50 each, totaling $40.50. When I found 3 hardly used rolls on the floor in my sons room I tried to give it back to her and she said that she had already charged me for it. I didn't want it, or any of their tape at all! The initial movers were told "WE DO NOT WANT TO GO OVER OUR CUBIC FOOTAGE SO LET US KNOW SO WE CAN MAKE DECISIONS ON WHAT GOES AND WHAT STAYS" She then comes and tells me I have room for one or two small things before the beds go in. We chose my sons hotwheels car. Then she put our beds in and magically we went from 820 to 1150. Of course no one will part with their beds. All the small things were in the back so we couldn't get to them to take them out and ship them a cheaper way. The "Customer Service" department here is solely to book you. After that they have your phone number in their system and they never answer. It rings until it goes to a voicemail that never gets answered. The only way to reach them is to request a quote on the website, or to call from an entirely new number. We had to do both. The sales department called back right away. The warehouse manager told us that they were taking our stuff to palletize it and shrink wrap it. She also said that "They were the actual company with their own trucks, and that our stuff would NOT be brokered out to anyone." When the brokered out driver showed up with our stuff, it was thrown into the truck all mixed in with other peoples things. Broken, damaged and misplaced. My husband had to go onto the truck to remove boxes that the driver said weren't ours. They were ours. The "movers" that came to unload our stuff were 2 local young men hired off of craigslist with NO moving experience at all. I felt SO bad for them as they struggled to get my stuff up the steps. I should NOT have to pity the movers I have paid $3,600+ to move my stuff! They were paid $15/hour under the table. They were taken to the back of the truck to be paid out of the cash that we gave the driver. I paid $65 for an extra flight of steps, and the "movers" did not get that. Who does? The driver who sat on his butt and watched them struggle? My husband himself helped lift and move boxes and furniture. The movers told us that they simply responded to an ad on craigslist that said "help unload some boxes from a truck" We got their phone number, and they are willing to help us in any way, as they also feel slighted by this company. The $65 charge for the flight of steps should have already been removed from my bill. I was told by several representatives that if the flight of steps was located inside the home, that I should not be charged for it. Then the warehouse manager in Houston told me that she had removed it. Then she told me that she was unable to remove the tape because it was already written into the contract. Why did you tell me you removed the flight of steps then? It was also written into the contract. And it was not removed. Again, it also did not go to the movers themselves. We have taken pictures of the many things that were damaged in the move. Everything was literally THROWN into the truck. Boxes smashed, broken dressers, my antique table completely unwrapped. Boxes were opened! How do you charge me $40.50 for tape and my boxes are opened when I receive them? The inventory list is inaccurate. For example #72 was supposed to be a "folding chair" and it was in fact, my son's headboard. Everything was numbered incorrectly so we had no way to actually do an inventory of our things. Also the list is fraudulent. We were charged for 7 dressers in all: 2 armoires, 2 triple dressers, 2 double dressers and then another dresser. No wonder we went over our cubic footage. In reality we own 3 dressers. One of which is a baby's dresser.

negative! user beware! they will sugar coat you into hiring them. when it's delivery time, they hide. earliest possible date is useless because they wouldn't honor it. and no customer service whatsoever. the pick-up driver forgot to add the fuel surcharge to our bill and yet nobody had the decency to let us. we're just shocked now they call us that our balance is 266 more. told them i'm not paying anymore than what I was told before. they told us they won't deliver our stuff and bill us storage. you're better off moving your stuff yourself and you don't deal with any of them. i didn't get the supposedly hassle free move plus i got charged so much. earliest possible date was 9 days ago. They told us they're now just loading our stuff....sucks that we have to pay or we won't get our stuff. boooo
